Chapter 508 - 507 – Second Tournament – Finals – Part 12.

(What the fuck?! What the hell Arthur/Diamond doing here?!) – thought both players as they spotted each other, setting off their internal alarms extremely high upon realizing that there maybe more than one enemy in front of them.However, Phantasia didn't gave them time to think as the two dragon heads went straight for them, forcing the two players to unleash barrages of strikes at the two heads, stopping them in tracks… But only for moment, as the two massive claws came the two players way.

Diamond quickly blinked away, dodging the strike.

But Arthur? He wasn't so lucky.

He managed to deploy the barrier, but the force behind the massive claw was way too much for Arthur to handle, shattering the barrier, and then sending Arthur right back towards the ground, which resulted in him being smashed into the murky water.

Arthur instantly emerged from the murky water, but he was forced to instantly run away as the massive claw enveloped in the necrotic energy came down.

The first caused a massive burst of corrupted necrotic energy upon impact, which straight up withered all the life that was touched by the corrupted energy.

Arthur tried instantly counter attacking by unleashing a hail of flaming slashes at the giant's arm…. But the attacks did not bothered Phantasia one bit and barely left any serious damage.

"…"

"Crap." – said Arthur as he then saw the massive claw coming at him again, forcing the man to raise a barrier once again, only for it again to shatter, but this time not completely sent Arthur flying as he was able to avoid the critical hit.

(Dammit! Not only defense but also attack power is beyond monster like!) – thought Arthur as Phantasia was unleashing a rain of corrupted bones, forcing the swordman to unleash a wave of sun fire around himself, melting some of the bones that came his way.

However, as Arthur observed the situation around him, he realized that the areas hit by the bones were straight up rotting.

(… [Cursed Necromancer]. Shit! I've dealt with this class before, and it is beyond problematic!) – thought Arthur as he realize the danger he was dealing…. But in the next moment, a greyish fog appeared and began melting the aged-up trees.

[Grey Death] – [Class Rarity: Unique]

[A class that specializes in deadliest in usage of deadliest poisons which can melt even death.]

[Currently considered as one of most powerful poison type classes.]

[There are only 5 people confirmed to have that class and each person is confirmed to be at least a ranker.]

(For fuck's sake! Plague is one thing, but the grey poison from that class is beyond dangerous!) – thought panicking Arthur.

(Phantasia may be the top executive of the organization from the player side, and that is how he was able to secure these top classes.)

(But at the same time, Phantasia is still a pure all-rounder.)

(Even if he may posses countless number of titles and classes, the fact remains that he is pure all-rounder.)

(He may have countless "weapons", but there will be opening.)

(And I will exploit it.) – thought Arthur as he blasted away the gray poison with his sun fire.

"COME AT ME YOU BASTARD!" – shouted Arthur as he started the real fight with the massive monstrosity.

"…"

(Okay… I wasn't expecting that.) – thought Diamond who tried healing himself while he still had a chance with a help of his blood skills while also observing from the safe distance, hidden amongst the trees, as the monstrosity of metal and flesh was clashing with the golden flames.

(Doesn't that gives me a perfect chance to survive?)

(I mean, I thought I was good as goner… But now I have a solid chance to survive.)

(As long as Arthur and Phantasia are occupied fighting each other, my chances of survival will increase…. Then again.)

As Diamond was in the middle of healing himself, he noticed something quickly flying over him, alarming the mage.

And in the next moment, the sonic scream wave came his way, devastating the tree he was hiding in.

"!?"

(Attack?!) – thought Diamond as he managed to somewhat safely land on the murky water, only to then notice two more sonic attacks comings his way, forcing the mage to deploy his barrier and barely block the attack in time…. Or so he thought.

"!?"

(The hell?!) – the barrier was completely ignored and Diamond received a direct hit.

Diamond quickly blinked, teleporting away, making his escape.

(Scream attack that ignore barriers?!)

(Fuck! There is one monster that I know has that ability!) – thought Diamond as he looked up and saw the false harpies flying above.

(Earth Screaming Bats.)

(Does that mean Phantasia was at the Saboria Den?!)

As Diamond realized that something was off about the chimeras' appearance, realizing that they had some sort of mechanical parts, he then realized that he was in somewhat deep trouble.

He was getting surrounded by the armies of monsters, while the plague mist had already started devouring the swamp around him.

"…"

"Fuck me, I guess." – said Diamond as he put up his combat position.

(I guess Phantasia didn't forgotten about me.)

(Wait, isn't this freaking perfect for me?) – thought Diamond as he stared at the chimeras.

(They are not bone types or spectral type undeads… They are zombies!)

(MEANING THAT I CAN USE THEM!)

(…Well, that is if I don't die!) – thought Diamond as he starred unleashing blood from his body.

The two players were locked in conflict.

One started his war against the hordes of monsters, while the another was locked in combat with the massive monstrosity of flesh and metal.

And the instant Phantasia arrived at the swamp…. It changed.

It was like the castle zone, which had its mini zones reduced to rubble by the fight between the abomination and the dragon.

However, the damage that the swamp was receiving… It was far more cruel.

The plague, the poison, the curses, the ravaging beasts and mad man rampage.

The nature itself wasn't just dying or rotting.

No.

It was getting annihilated.

The swap started turning slowly into the wasteland as the trio of the players continued their fight.

"WHAT IS WRONG?! ARE YOU ALSO GOING BE DISSAPOITMENT FOR ME?! JUST LIKE MAGNUS WAS?!" – shouted Phantasia as he was swinging around his claws, wrecking up the territory around him… But not hiding Arthur who suddenly disappeared out of Phantasia's sight.

(There!) – Arthur managed to find himself underneath Phantasia, aiming to pierce his stomach.

"[Acid Magic: Acid Lake]." – however, Phantasia wasn't even bothering to look for Arthur, as he straight up infested the entire area surrounding his massive body, turning it into the acid, forcing Arthur to quickly get out from his spot.

"[Grey Poison: Suffering Mouths]." – and right after exposing himself, Phantasia instantly sprouted from his claws a greyish liquid, which then turned into a bunch of distorted mouths.

The mouth extended towards Arthur, aiming to bite him.

Arthur had a chance to escape… But instead, he chose to blast them away with fire.

(I've fought the master ranker Duel, the poison and curse specialist who has also this class.) – thought Arthur as he stood his ground.

(He had some of the nasty classes you have.)

(And I know how to deal with them.) – thought Arthur as even more grey poison and acid started pouring in his direction, only for Arthur to surprisingly use his golden sun fire to blast it all away.

*Whistle*

"Nice." – said Phantasia.

"DON'T FUCKING STOP! I DON'T WANT IT TO BE ANOTHER BORING FIGHT!" – shouted Phantasia as he swung down his claws once again, forcing Arthur on the defense.

Arthur tried blocking the massive claw, but the pure strength and mass behind it was way too much for Arthur to handle, as he was once again sent flying.

And as he was sent flying, the two dragon heads had almost finished up charging his attack.

Arthur instantly knew that these dragons' heads were beyond dangerous, causing Arthur to instantly deploy one of his strongest skills, [Redeemed Sun: Disk Of Heroic Sun], generating a golden disk like shield which then created a barrier around Arthur instantly.

However, as the shield was getting manifested, Phantasia gaze changed.

And as the barrier fully manifested, the two dragons fired off in not Arthur's direction…. But instead.

Towards Diamond.

"?!"

(Wait, THE-)

The entire area where Diamond was at was instantly scorched as the devasting dragon beams straight up devoured the entire area where Diamond was at.

"…"

"What is up with this surprised look mate?" – asked Phantasia as he noticed visible nervous expression on Arthur's face.'

"This is a 2 vs 1 situation, isn't it?"

"Or what? Did you expected me to be dumb enough and focus on only you?"

"I'm not that dumb."

"And Diamond." – said Phantasia as he stared at the massive dust cloud

"Quick info."

"The counter didn't decreased."

"That means you are alive."

"So don't think I forgotten about you."

"Not only that, I fucking know you are planning something."

"…"

"So… With that said."

"I would like both of you to stop fucking around and take me seriously."

"Because if you don't, then this will only start getting boring for me."
