Chapter 479

In a large hall, adorned with gems and crystals that shined as if they were filled with life, Keith watched his two ladies arguing with each other, wearing their beautiful crowns on their heads and dresses that glittered in lights.

"I warned you." Rebecca grinned as if she had won some bet, and her words provoked Qingyue, whose beautiful amethyst eyes glinted in anger.

"You don't have to remind me about it over and over again." She angrily said, and then she turned to look his way.

In an instant, all her rage dissipated and a beautiful smile bloomed on her face.

Keith felt a soft touch on his right cheek, and then he heard a whisper that froze him.

"Baba..."

The moment he turned to look at her face, the scene blurred, and the next instant, he found himself standing inside a cave, staring at a dark gem in the pendant that was floating in the air.

He instinctively drew his hand forward to grab it, but before he could touch it, the scene blurred again, and he found himself in his room inside the Palace, watching Venessa lovingly combing Minami's hair and chatting with her.

The two of them turned to look at him as if sensing that he was awake, but then the scene blurred again, and this time, he saw a jet flying through the clouds, fighting against the lightning storm, and his eyes narrowed as he saw black streaks of Lightning fall, opening a crack in the space ahead.

He could see what was happening inside the jet too, and the moment it hit the space crack and passed right through it, a young man who seemed to be in his late teens, with dusty blonde hair and cold green eyes, disappeared, and the rest died on the spot, with their bodies being shredded into innumerable pieces by the Spatial Waves.

It was the same for the jet, and it fell from the sky, into the sea below. Its pieces were no bigger than the droplets of rain.

The scene changed again, and this time, he was inside a corridor, and he saw Roy kissing a girl, who was clearly panicking that someone would catch them in the act.

However, seeing the sweet smiles on their faces, it was so clear that they were both in love with each other.

Suddenly, Roy stopped and turned to look his way, and his brows furrowed as his eyes scanned the surroundings, but he was unable to see him.

"What happened?" The girl timidly asked, and the boy shook his head before looking at her and smiling.

"Let's go." He grabbed her hand and led her down the corridor, and as Keith watched them leave, the scene blurred again, and he was back inside his Dream World, flying through the clouds.

A smile crossed his face, and with a slow flap of his wings, generating a chiming sound that seemed to excite everything in the world, his speed quickened, but no matter how fast he flew, the world just never seemed to end.

Suddenly, he heard two melodious voices giggling, and he immediately recognised them.

The moment he stopped, everything blurred again, and he felt the soft sheets covering his nakedness.

With slight quivering, his eyelids opened, and Keith turned his face to look at his side, surprised by what he saw.

It was the scene that he had just witnessed a while ago, and it gave him a sense of deja vu.

There, next to the adorned dressing table, Minami was sitting on a bench with Venessa standing behind her, helping her comb her hair.

The two of them were happily chatting about their day, specifically about the race that they held which Minami won.

And as if out of instinct that they were being watched, both turned to look his way. Soon, bright smiles crept on their faces, and his dear daughter stood up and rushed over to him.

"Good morning, Father." She greeted him and then leaned in to kiss him on the lips.

Before she could pull back, Keith grabbed her and pinned her under him, eliciting giggles from her belly, and then her laughter echoed in the room as he started tickling her.

Venessa smiled some more as she watched the two play with each other, and then she silently left the room to prepare some food for Keith.

The younger Carmilla Princess, who was lately practising her Telekinetic Powers, expertly set all the dishes on the table, and then high-fived Avriel, who was impressed with her progress.

Keith smiled when Ingvild ran straight up to him and unceremoniously sat in his lap after kissing him on the cheek.

"Keith."

Suddenly someone called out to him, and he smiled at the little Mourntale, who was sitting next to Amelia.

"Yes?"

"Qin Feng was an entire Realm higher than you, which means that he had three times more Aura. But since we are not in Lower Heaven, and neither of you had gone through the Martial Tribulations, his Physical Strength was much weaker than what it should have been in the Martial Master Realm, right?"

"Correct."

"Would it have made a difference?"

"He would have survived for some more time, yes." He nodded. "The Tribulations not only strengthen your body but also purify your Aura and Mana. This would have made him considerably stronger than he was."

The little Mourntale asked a few more questions, nodding her head to all his answers, saving them in her memory, and then thanked him before eating her meal.

The only person at the table who seemed confused about the conversation that they just had was his maid, Fiona.

Amira and Reina happily clarified her confusion and informed her how the Cultivation Realms worked.

"All Cultivators, regardless of their Race, have the same size of Aura Hub when they step out of the Primal Desolation. The difference lies in the purity and density of the Aura carried inside the Aura Hub." The younger twin told her. "Let's say a Rank 1 Martial Warrior can have 100 Units of Aura in his Aura Hub. Every subsequent rank has 10% increments. Not compounded. Rank 2 Martial Warrior will have 110 Units, Rank 3 will have 120 Units, Rank 4 will have 130 Units, et cetera."

"Rank 10 Martial Warrior will have 190 Units, but once you reach the peak of Martial Warrior Realm, you will have 200 Units," Amira added.

"So, the Peak of each Realm means twice as much Aura Reserves than its beginning?"

"Exactly," The twins happily nodded their heads, and then the older Twin explained the next part.

"However, once you reach the Peak of a Realm and break through to the next Realm, your Aura Hub gains a 50% increase in size. Therefore, whereas a Peak Martial Warrior had 200 Units of Aura, a Rank 1 Martial Knight will have 300 Units. A Peak Stage Martial Knight will have 600 Units."

"Oh." Fiona finally understood everything and nodded her head.

Everyone smiled as they watched Fiona making calculations in her mind, and saw her eyes widen in surprise.

"So, a Rank 1 Martial General will have 900 Units, a Rank 1 Martial Master will have 2700 Units, a Rank 1 Martial Tyrant will have 8100 Units, a Rank 1 Martial Prince will have 24,300 Units, a Rank 1 Martial King will have 72,900 Units, a Rank 1 Martial Emperor will have 218,700 Units and a Rank 1 Martial Overlord will have 656,100 Units?!"

Everyone laughed at her words and nodded their heads.

"You are good with numbers." Nana teasingly complimented.

"Wow." However, Fiona was still in shock. "Doesn't that mean that a Peak Stage Martial Overlord will have 1,312,200 Units of Aura? That's 13,122 times more than a Rank 1 Martial Warrior!"

"Yes." Keith smiled at her. "And that's just the difference between Aura Reserves, the real strength of an individual could be even more than that."

Fiona inadvertently looked at all the girls who had achieved the completion of Primal Desolation, and she was even more shocked as she tried to imagine them becoming thousands of times stronger.

The idea was truly frightening.
