Chapter 461
Speed.
Something he always considered the most important aspect that determined the result of a battle was also something that thrilled him the most. And in his dreams, he liked nothing more than to fly as fast as he could, through the clouds that shimmered in the light of the Golden-Purple sky.
It wasn't something he could ever get tired of, and this feeling that he could only enjoy in his dreamland for now, always lulled him to sleep with a promise.
Keith did not know how long he slept for this time, but when he opened his soul-stirring amethyst eyes, there was a happy smile on his face.
It was late in the morning, just an hour before noon, and his dear Amelia was not in the bed by his side.
His senses picked up something interesting, where the grounds of the estate were being isolated by someone. And he could sense his wives present inside that barrier.
Not sure what they were doing, but not worried about them either, he went to take a shower, and after dressing up for the day, he walked out of the Manor.
He narrowed his eyes at the flawless Illusion that surrounded the place, and there was this subtle charm in effect that kept the workers from approaching this ground.
As soon as he arrived a few metres close to the barrier, he sensed Rebecca lock onto his presence, which she quickly lifted as her focus returned to something that she was doing or witnessing.
When he finally crossed the Illusion and entered the barrier, what he saw was a ravaged ground with destruction all over the place, and there were two figures in the centre, fighting against each other.
Well, it was not much of a fight as one of them seemed to be struggling for her life, trying her best to not drown inside the spherical cage of water that his daughter was controlling. And she had hints of fear in her expression as she found herself unable to summon her Aura Soul to protect her.
There was this strange power that disrupted her Aura Soul as soon as it was about to manifest.
"Brother!" Kiara happily smiled and jumped into his arms, and he returned her tight hug before kissing her on the lips.
"I thought you were coming later today." He said to her, meeting her beautiful electric blue eyes.
"We wanted to surprise you all," She told him with a bright smile, "Iseul helped us out with it."
"Then what are you doing here?" He curiously asked, and she laughed and told him about what they came across when they arrived at the Manor.
"She challenged you all, so, you decided to bully her?" He smirked as he looked at Qin Roulan, who was at Minami's mercy now.
"Well, she wanted to test us and to convince herself, and since she said that she would accept your offer if someone in the same Realm could defeat her, Minami stepped forward to take her challenge," She giggled and then pouted, "I wanted to fight her, but I was a step too late."
"You are bullies." He feigned a sigh, and she started laughing before looking back at her sister, who was effortlessly toying with a highly experienced and strong Auror.
It had to be noted that Qin Roulan was only a step away from reaching the completion of Primal Desolation and leaving this world, and she had decades of experience in fighting, having been trained by her Lord Father.
However, she was utterly helpless against the girl who was less than half her age and in the same Realm. And it was because she was a mere Ashaya, and his dear daughter was Divine.
"Bullying is fun," said Kiara, making him chuckle, but then something happened that surprised them all.
"Someone is eager to die." Rebecca coldly said and met her husband's eyes, but after seeing the light smile on his face, she giggled.
"He's going to fight you over her."
The sudden words made everyone turn to look at Feifei, who had absently spoken them, and now, having all the eyes on her, she felt a little awkward.
"What?"
"Why do you say that?" Qingyue frowned, and Rouxi anxiously looked at her dear friend.
The Child of Destiny knew that whenever Feifei spoke such ominous words, they always came true, and she was now worried that a battle between Keith and Qin Feng was inevitable.
"I don't know." The Princess of Wei Family furrowed her brows, having also realised the weight of her words.
She remembered Keith telling her to always trust the sinking feeling whenever she would feel it, and she was feeling one right now.
Feifei worriedly looked at her husband, but she found him smiling at her.
"I hope he does." He said, catching them all off-guard. "It should be fun."
The words unsettled most of them, but he did not pay any attention to their worried glances.
Walking past them, he crouched and placed his palms on the ground, and then utilised his elemental magic to fix the devasted land.
Roulan was stuck in a daze as she watched the ground level up and witnessed the grass grow at an alarming rate, and even the wooden posts that had been destroyed were magically replaced by new ones that grew out of the ground.
After everything was done, only the debris remained from the battle, which Keith took care of as he unleashed a sea of Darkness that devoured all the waste, leaving the ground in a better shape than it had been before their fight.
"Show off!" Feifei blurted out, and those who felt the same in their hearts started laughing at her words.
"Thank you." Keith chucked and then stood up to lazily stretch his arms. "Up for a spar?" He asked and heard a resounding "Yes!" in reply from his ladies. "Well, then, let's go."
As soon as his words entered their years, they felt an inexplicable pull before they felt lighter than ever. And a blink later, they were inside the Training Hall in their Palace on Aerzar.
"I will be on your team!" Rebecca declared as she came to stand by his side, and her sisters pouted at her over her decision but did not say anything to her.
"Shall we?" He asked as he summoned his Aura Soul, and Rebecca did the same.
Roulan was dumbstruck at everything that was happening, and when she saw colourful Aura Souls from around her rushing at Keith and Rebecca, her heart thumped hard against her chest.
She was about to witness the battle of her life, and she had never felt as excited as she did right now...
