Villain: The Play of Destiny

Chapter 453

Chapter 453

The members of the Wei Family stayed for another two hours after dinner, and Feifei spent all that time with her aunt and grandfather in the other hall, where the girls of the Demiliore Family were having their dinner away from the guests.

Only Rouxi stayed by Keith's side to host their guests after his wives excused themselves too, and the two of them chatted about the current affairs of the Business world with Wei Zong.

No one could have guessed from her voice and expressions that she was no longer interested in all these business talks, and that was how well she could mask her feelings.

Her life had changed now, and she had much bigger and meaningful goals set in her mind.

She expertly refused to make any business deals that Wei Family proposed, citing how busy the Rouxi Corporation was right now. And Wei Zong did not insist on the matter either.

With Keith by her side, she did not need any help from any corporation in the world. No matter which business venture she would decide upon, it was bound to succeed. That was how much power in the Business World the Demiliore Family held. Just their name was enough to turn sand into gold. And now she was the daughter-in-law of one of the most powerful Business Families in the world.

Eventually, the talks shifted to some miscellaneous things, and Baobao and Jin were questioned about their plans in life.

Unlike the answers they gave Keith earlier, the two gave very calculative answers to the guests, both emphasising the continuation of their studies.

Wei Zixin and Wei Zimo asked Jin about his interest in Cultivation, and the boy informed them that he had never really had the opportunity to focus on it, but showed his interest in becoming a powerful Auror.

When the members of the Wei Family decided to take their leave, Rouxi happily received their gifts and well-wishes with Keith and came out to see them off as well.

Feifei, who was done chatting with her aunt and grandfather, arrived outside as well, and then the three of them bid the guests a good night.

The Wei Princess took her time as she saw off her family, and then she happily walked over to Rouxi and him.

"Aunt Jia wants to take me shopping tomorrow. I have promised Baobao and Jin to take them along as well." She told him.

"It's fine. I will give you a break from your training."

"Thanks!"

He smiled and then looked at Rouxi, who seemed to be lost in some thoughts.

"So, what happened at the Old District?"

"It was a mess created by a Mortal God who wanted to play a poor and righteous young man." Feifei huffed and folded her arms on her chest. "He beat up the local gangsters, and when he was arrested yesterday, they decided to remind the residents of the Old District who the real boss was. They just needed an excuse, and the Marton came under fire for making a deal with Rouxi."

"So, how did you deal with the issues?" He curiously asked.

"Haven't dealt with them yet. I have invited the local representative for lunch tomorrow, and the bosses of those local Gangs will be coming as well," Rouxi informed him.

"Interesting."

"Qingyue called the local Police, but somehow, the officers of MSS came with several armed men, and the situation became very tense in a matter of minutes. They had no choice but to accept when the weapons were drawn at them." Feifei grinned. "Those cowards were not expecting an armed confrontation."

"And what's bothering you?" He chuckled and curiously asked Rouxi.

The Child of Destiny raised her head and looked into his eyes, seemingly thinking over her words, and then she finally revealed what was running through her mind.

"Is it wrong for me to think that those people are insignificant?" She genuinely asked, hoping that he would understand what she was feeling, and he did.

"Not wrong, but quite worrisome if you don't have the strength to hold such thoughts." He smiled at her and playfully flicked her nose. "However, yes, they are insignificant compared to you."

"I don't want to wait and take a long route to deal with these mundane things. I want to focus on our training and spend time with you. Would you help me convince those people to leave the land?"

"He was Keith's bodyguard, but now serves me." She told them.

"Is he strong?"

"Very," She smiled and nodded her head. "He is also a Metal Esper. He can turn his body into Metal to help him in fights."

And her revelation initiated an entirely different conversation where Rouxi and Feifei asked their questions and they provided them with the answers.

"Does that mean that Espers can belong to any Race?"

"Yes," Keith nodded to Rouxi. "Being an Esper just means that you have been blessed with early access to your future Laws or Elements, and sometimes, blessed with a Power by the Divine Laws. And that power should not be due to your Bloodline or some Treasure. Victor has a strong affinity for the Metal Element, and he can already use it to a limited extent. All Espers have ridiculously high affinities to the powers that they possess, and they have a much easier time in the future when they learn and master that Element or make a Law out of their Ability."

"Make Laws?" She raised her brow.

"Yes. You have to start making your own Laws as soon as you step into the Second Desolation after reaching the Peak of the Nine Martial Realms. Victor will create a Dao of Metal, and he will easily succeed in creating it."

"Oh..."

"Wait!" Feifei suddenly interjected. "Do I qualify as an Esper?" She seriously asked, and even Qingyue looked at Keith for an answer.

"You do qualify to be called an Esper." He nodded. "However, you are extremely special, and there's no way for anyone to figure out that you have the power to look into the hearts of people unless you slip up. And you must never let it slip."

The seriousness in his words tensed her a little, but she nodded her head to him that she would be mindful of it.

"Are there any classifications?" She asked.

"Yes. On Gaia, the Esper Association classifies them into D-Class, C-Class, B-Blass, A-Class, and S-Class. However, in Heavens, Espers are Classified according to the person's Cultivation Talent."

"Why?"

"What use would your ability be if you are not strong enough?" Rebecca smiled at Feifei. "The stronger you are, the stronger your powers will be. And talent is a major factor that determines a person's strength and potential in their life."

"It is also because once someone has successfully created their Laws, they will possess powers that their Laws give them. So, you are only an Esper until you have created your Laws. Afterwards, you are the same as everyone else in your Realm. At that point, only your Talent will determine the potential of your Laws and the abilities that they provide you." Keith told her with a smile.

"How are the Cultivation Talents classifications?" Feifei curiously asked.

"Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet, Purple, and Golden. Red being the lowest, and Golden being the highest." Qingyue informed her.

"What's mine?" She nervously asked him.

"Not telling." He tapped her head and then started walking inside the Manor.

Feifei pouted as she watched him leave but then smiled at Qingyue and Rebecca.

"Does anyone else in the family have Knights?" She curiously asked.

"Yes, Kashish has her brother, Harud, as her Knight." Qingyue nodded to her and then the four girls walked inside the Manor as they kept chatting with each other.

When they arrived in the main lounge, the scene they witnessed warmed their hearts and made them laugh too.

Keith had stolen the cup of Ice Cream from Helena's hand, and the little girl was chasing him all around the place to get it back. And a few moments later, Amira and Reina joined in as well to help the little Mourntale retrieve her food from the thief.
