Chapter 802 - 801: Capturing Yin Liang

Chapter 802 - 801: Capturing Yin Liang

The next morning, Chu Ge originally planned to visit Tianqing Company. As he sat in the Maserati and started the car, he felt a bit conflicted.Thinking about Qin Ruojing mentioning Tong Yaqi a few days ago, saying that her current state wasn't particularly good and she had even lost some weight, Chu Ge was quite concerned.

For love, one becomes haggard, and though looser belts don't bring regret, ah, thinking about this made Chu Ge feel uneasy.

But now he's a married man, after all. Even though Qin Ruojing said she wouldn't mind, he felt that if he acted as he did before, it just wouldn't feel right.

Qin Ruojing was so good to him. Just like he noted in his phonebook, she was like a thermos bottle; no matter how cold she appeared on the outside, she was caring on the inside. And ever since he and Qin Ruojing got their marriage certificate, she was rarely cold to him, bringing more and more warmth to his life, which he truly cherished.

Moreover, Tianqing Company wasn't just Tong Yaqi's workplace; Luo Suyun, Xia Feifei, and Mo Xiaoran were there too. He wasn't sure what these women thought of him now.

Some things really give you a headache just thinking about them.

Drumming his fingers on the steering wheel, Chu Ge was contemplating whether to go or not when his phone suddenly rang. He checked the number—it was Lin Gaoze calling.

He immediately answered, and Lin Gaoze's cheerful voice came from the receiver, "Mr. Chu, am I disturbing you?"

Hearing the voice, Chu Ge knew it was good news and instantly replied with a smile: "Captain Lin, you're teasing me. I'm just a free person, of course, you're not disturbing me. If you have something to say, just say it. We're like family, no need for formalities."

Lin Gaoze didn't waste any time and directly told Chu Ge that they caught someone named Yin Liang last night. Under overnight interrogation, the kid confessed some things.

Upon hearing this, Chu Ge couldn't help but feel elated. Lin Gaoze then asked if Chu Ge was available to meet, and he immediately agreed.

Twenty minutes later, Chu Ge met with a casually dressed Lin Gaoze in a park, where Lin Gaoze explained in detail what Yin Liang had confessed and asked Chu Ge what his plans were.

Due to the fingerprints on the metal scrap piece, Yin Liang had to admit to being involved in the brawl near the Xin Xin Bride parking lot, but he stubbornly refused to admit that he intentionally jammed the metal piece into the gap of the Ferrari's tire, insisting it was an accident.

According to Yin Liang, he carried the piece for self-defense. Who knew how it ended up in the Ferrari's tire? It might have been accidentally thrown there during the fight and "just happened" to get stuck in that spot.

These words were obviously nonsense. Even if he threw that metal piece a hundred times aiming for the tire, it barely stands a chance of getting stuck there once. Just happened? What a load of crap.

But for the police, some things in this world are just like that. Even if you know the other party is talking nonsense, as long as there's the slightest possibility, you're still stuck.

After hearing Lin Gaoze out, Chu Ge immediately suggested that Lin Gaoze let the kid go for now. Lin Gaoze understood right away—Chu Ge intended to pry open Yin Liang's mouth himself.

Being a police officer at Lin Gaoze's level, especially one ambitious, he was very mindful of his actions and didn't want to leave any handle for others to criticize. He preferred to handle matters through proper procedures.

Therefore, no extreme methods were used during Yin Liang's interrogation. If it had been another police station and a tougher officer, Yin Liang might have confessed everything by now.

Both being smart people, with Chu Ge suggesting and Lin Gaoze understanding, they reached an unspoken agreement. A few hours later, Yin Liang swaggered out of the station.

He thought he was off the hook, unaware that in the hours since Chu Ge and Lin Gaoze met, Chu Ge had already contacted Chen Jue. As Yin Liang was released, several pairs of eyes were watching him from different directions.

Being daytime and at a police station entrance, they didn't act immediately. Chen Jue's crew watched Yin Liang like patient hunters, trailing him.

Until past three in the afternoon, Chen Jue's men found the perfect opportunity. As Yin Liang walked into a building alone, before he realized what happened, they knocked him out from behind, put a hood over his head, taped his mouth shut, tied up his hands and feet, and folded him into a car trunk.

Afterward, they immediately contacted Chen Jue, who then reached out to Chu Ge. Chu Ge suggested changing the interrogation location, fearing any mishaps if people were taken to Chen Jue's usual pond.

Thus, Yin Liang was taken to an abandoned factory in the Lidu Suburb, watched by two of Chen Jue's men.

Chu Ge wasn't in a hurry to interrogate the kid. He left Yin Liang there and, as agreed yesterday, arrived at Chen Jue's fishpond precisely at four in the afternoon.

Except for those on duty as bodyguards for the Qin sisters and those staying at the abandoned factory to watch Yin Liang, everyone else who came yesterday was already there. When they saw Chu Ge, their faces were devoid of any defiance. They stood like javelins, their eyes full of admiration and fervor.

Chu Ge's series of actions yesterday had thoroughly won them over. Everyone standing here felt that being trained by Chu Ge was a tremendous honor for them!

Seeing this group today, Chu Ge didn't put on any sour face. As soon as he saw them, he laughed. They were actually all in camouflage attire, and their normal clothes were neatly placed on a plastic-covered ground nearby, clearly preparing their gear just for today's training, making them look quite the part.

Chu Ge didn't bother with any formalities. Upon arriving, he immediately began training. The content was the same as yesterday; he drew a circle on the ground and had them attack him within ten minutes. He also made a bet, but the stakes differed from yesterday.

If he lost, he would take them to a bar to drink and perform a ten-minute pole dance on stage. If they lost, they had to run laps around the fishpond. He didn't specify a certain number of laps, only told them to run until they couldn't anymore.

As soon as Chu Ge proposed this bet, these guys immediately got all pumped up and erupted into laughter!

Ten minutes quickly passed. Despite their best efforts, they couldn't force Chu Ge out of the circle. They admitted defeat and started running laps around the fishpond.

Chu Ge didn't watch them. With a sly smile, he said, "Run well," and then drove back to the city. The crowd running laps watched him leave, and many of them couldn't help but have twitching lips, feeling utterly speechless inside.

Damn! What kind of person is this? Is this how you act as a coach? He's way too lazy!

Despite their speechlessness, these men prided themselves on being real tough guys. After seeing Chu Ge off, none of them slacked off. They kept running, competing with each other, and no one wanted to be the first to stop.

While they were gritting their teeth and persisting with the laps, Chu Ge returned to the city. He didn't rush to the abandoned factory where Yin Liang was held. Instead, he parked the Maserati at Huafu Garden, rented a fairly decent and inconspicuous Jetta, and then drove to the address Chen Jue had given him.

The factory's location was extremely remote, seemingly a former site for chemical materials. There wasn't a soul in sight for miles, and with its location, it was practically an ideal place for murder, robbery, and exacting private punishment.

It was already evening by the time Chu Ge arrived. In the glow of the setting sun, he pushed open the heavy iron door, which creaked ominously. A beam of sunlight pierced in, making dust dance freely in its path, emitting a blood-red, eerie radiance.

Clang...

Chu Ge stepped into the factory and closed the iron door behind him. The last sliver of sunlight vanished, leaving the air imbued with a decayed and rancid odor. The echoes of the vibrating iron door reverberated through the empty factory hall.

The workshop had no windows, but Chu Ge quickly adapted to the dim light. Chen Jue, Bao Zhanhai, and two men over six feet tall were standing together, talking about something. Nearby, a man with a hood over his head was tied to a pillar. Clearly, this must have been Yin Liang.

Hearing the door, the four turned their heads. Chen Jue smiled at the approaching Chu Ge and called out, "Boss," causing the tied-up Yin Liang to shudder and swallow nervously.

He knew that the main figure had finally arrived, and his fate lay in this man's hands!

Chu Ge nodded and smiled at Chen Jue and the others, walking over unhurriedly. Each step he took stirred up a bit of dust, the sound of his footsteps resounding distinctly in the empty factory.

Chu Ge stopped in front of Yin Liang, a wicked grin spreading across his face. "Yin Liang, right? Do you know why I invited you here?"

Yin Liang's hands were bound, but he could still move his head. Hearing Chu Ge's question, he immediately shook his head.

Chu Ge chuckled, patting Yin Liang's face through the hood. "You don't know... well, that's really unfortunate."

Although Chu Ge's voice was light and breezy, Yin Liang felt an overwhelming sense of evil aura, making him even more anxious inside.

He swallowed hard again, suddenly realizing something. That voice... why did it sound so familiar?
