Chapter 180: Moon Wrath
He held the translucent ball and he peeked at the small dragon that was trembling with fear before puffing off.
It turned to smoke, she can't fathom what happened and the extent of the mightiness she faced.

Seth found himself back to reality and then he saw and sensed a spark. At that moment his skin burned as if he was thrown into the fire.
This exactly reminded him of when he defeated Temra and his eyes burnt after some illusory spark cackled.
"AHHHHHH!"
He screamed his lungs as the pain was unbearable just like when his eyes burnt. But at the same time, a terrifying fear struck his heart, unlike any other things he faced in the real world or the game.
It was as if he was facing something akin to a God in the game or something. He felt that his life both in the game and outside will be erased in its totality.
It's an existential crisis.
That fear was the one that poked his mind and forced him to wake up in the agonizing pain of his seemingly burning skin. Opening his eyes in that hellish pain, Seth realized whatever was happening on his skin wasn't visible.
But what was terrifying was that the moonlight was increasing in brightness and his cloak was flapping while the silver-white stripes on it were becoming brighter than they ever were.

[GAWEE CONTINENT SURVIVAL QUEST]
[Wrath of the Moon!]
Seth's body on its own began to move toward the moonlight. He resisted and called the Red River but the river didn't even appear to protect him.
He was in that struggle when saw an Abhorrent Monster coming out into the moonlight with gladness and happiness. At that moment, he felt the need to go out, he felt that something was calling him to move out, and he sensed that going out would be the best thing in the world.
He resisted all that, which can be attributed to his Pure White Stone Will. Because the will was created after he resisted and escaped similar influence from Living Roots Forest.
However, the desire to go out kept changing. At one time Seth was curious to see the sky, and the next moment he felt the need to take the crystals, the next moment, he smelled something and felt the urge to go see what it was. The last thing he felt was a soothing sensation on his skin and he felt as if a woman was caressing him and calling him.
However, Seth was able to resist all that with ease and then all manner of influence turned off and the illusion was gone too. What was left was an uncontrollable fear of the moonlight. Which were the right emotions?
"I'm forgetting something!" Seth thought. That urged him to bring out his list of things. Checking, he remembered and he brought a Script Shield.
The light reflected by the crystals was immediately redirected at the shield. The glass shield absorbed the light and lit up.
A complicated network of yellow light blinked on and off through the glass shield but as it sucked in more moonlight, the network of yellow light stabilized and it kept stabilizing.
Seth on the other hand found his body emitting smoke due to light saturation in his body. He was just about to be puffed out of existence, perhaps. Seth hid behind the glass shield as he went through his items. Were there any possible items he could use? There was none.
He checked the damned Quest and found that there were no time limits. He understood that he was not the only one facing this calamity but then he concluded that whether others were included wasn't his problem.
What he needed now was to... Seth was speechless. Above him was the rocky roof and he was hiding well but the whole thing was becoming white gradually. He was 6 to 10 meters down and that wasn't enough.
How deep will the moonlight penetrate to reach him? Seth trembled, he looked at his staff which was now a glassy crystal taking in more moonlight.
"Damn it. What should I do!" Seth brought out his normal shield and blocked another ray of light reflecting by newly made moon crystals at the other side.
Now he sat in between two shields, one absorbing light and strengthening itself and the other was just normal metal wood.
"I hope the reflected ray doesn't turn items into crystals"
However, as if to mock him, his normal shield began to become white. Seeing that he looked at the glass shield, it was fine and was absorbing moonlight as energy like never before.
Seth braved it and moved toward it, then he used his cloak skill Envelope on himself, that was wrapping his cloak around him like a cradle and then he floated. He made a red stripe disappear and allowed only the silver stripe.
As the stripe was his and under his control, they weren't harming him, at least the inner part of the cloak was still green.
After that, he poured out the red liquid he stored in Red Signature stone and filled the inner cloak where he hid, what was left he poured it out and formed a circular shield behind the normal shield. That will serve as another form of defence in case the shield becomes crystal.
In a situation of absolute danger and possible death, it's safe to assume that a person will try all they can to survive until they reach a point where they begin to despair.
It only took a few minutes and Seth was about to despair.
The normal shield had become crystal and it was reflecting light deeply at the red foam shield which was now changing colour to white but Seth was shifting and moving the red foam using Red Manipulation to resist, but ultimately it changed but thanks to that it was liquid, so the light reflection wasn't directed at him completely.
