Hugo strolled back into his dorm room with the confidence of a man who had just finessed life itself.
He had done it. He had tricked Collins.

He stared at the message for a few seconds, then nodded.

It was mysterious but cool. Let her wonder who was texting her.
Hugo leaned back, waiting. Then, after a few moments, his phone buzzed. He quickly sat up and checked.
[Celine: Who's this?]

Hugo's eye twitched. He knew this would happen, but damn, it still hurt. It hurt because his profile picture was a selfie of his damn face!
She should have definitely seen his picture!
Hugo exhaled sharply and started typing.

Hugo rubbed his temples.

[Hugo: Alright, I'm sorry. I was wrong to do such.]

Hugo exhaled in relief.

Hugo slapped his forehead.

Hugo clenched his jaw. This woman was playing with him. He took a deep breath and tried again.
[Hugo: Look, just think of it as me repaying my debt for being bad to you. I'll even buy food.]

[Celine: Now you're talking. I like food.]
Hugo fist-pumped the air.
[Hugo: Great. When are you free?]

[Celine: Hmm. Tomorrow evening?]
YES!
[Hugo: Perfect. I'll text you the details.]

[Celine: Alright, see you then, little guy.]
Hugo groaned loudly. But whatever. Mission accomplished.
Now... he just needed to survive the actual meeting.
