Chapter 319 Progress Before The Deadline (13), Space Elemental Mastery

While Almond was in an enlightenment state, Zek and other members of the faction arrived there one by one, starting with several people with Zek, and saw him floating cross-legged in the air on the training ground near the pond.

There was a barrier around him created by Big D to prevent others from waking up Almond from his enlightenment mid-way.

Zek also realized Almond was in an important meditation based on the aura and the phenomenon around him.

"How do we wake up Boss Almond?" Malin rubbed his chin.

"We don't. Let him wake up on his own," Zek said, informing others as he looked at them. "He is in an important meditation as you all can see. Let's wait for now."

"This area is pretty massive and private land around the mansion is also big enough, haha. How about we spar against each other in the meantime."

"We can do that, but does anyone know what's happening with Boss? That phenomenon around him looks like space matter..."

"We have a guy with space elemental mastery in the faction, but he's not here yet."

"Oh, here they come."

A group of students arrived, led by none other than Karven, who had also decided to join Almond as he declared after his fight with Almond.

Looking at Almond floating cross-legged and briefly checking him, Karven's face stanked and his beard trembled, "Dayum!"

"Who gets strong like this? Bro reached the peak of Mortal-rank lifeform in three foundation stats so fast..."

"Rezir, what's happening with Almond, do you know?" Zek turned to a silver-haired elf looking in his twenties. "It's related to the space element as you can see."

"Yeah, he just awakened space elemental mastery from the looks of it, and is currently in enlightenment based on that phenomenon," Rezir said, but his expression was speechless. "The level of space intricacy I am seeing...yeah, it's already higher than my Epic-rank Space elemental mastery."

"Eh? If he didn't have space elemental mastery, then how was he teleporting all these while using space-related powers?" Someone questioned.

Everyone looked at Rezir, expecting an answer from him.

"It's strange. Space matter, the fundamental energy of space elements, doesn't move or activate if you don't have awakened space elemental mastery," Rezir said and wryly smiled before adding, "But Almond had another power that affected space matter, I guess. From my observation, when we fought, he ignored space matter as he couldn't perceive it without mastery, but his power affected them. I think he had a power that could override spatial layers, so it must be conceptual and quite powerful."

And right there and then, Almond opened his eyes, startling Zek.

"Come on, man."

The phenomenon around Almond vanished and he landed on his feet but didn't touch the ground.

"What's up? Where's everyone?" Almond smiled, his eyes flickering as the way he perceived the world deepened in a new way.

"They already left, just a minute before you opened your eyes," Zek wryly smiled. "Anyway, since you're awake, let's go. And tell me your current space elemental mastery."

Almond raised his hand as a stream of dark silvery sparks flowed around him like a river.

"I don't know what rank of mastery it is, but it's higher than my highest based on this control of space matter."

'And wow, I feel good. My brain's already creating assets and increasing my Arcane Constitution without me actively doing anything.'

But of course, he was aware of everything happening in his mind, and it was him doing it, it was taking up mental process space, however small it may be.

It was much like connecting natural things and creating what is obvious for his mind, based on all the information and assets he had, which now could expand into more with the addition of space elemental mastery.

"Your wristband. You can use the evaluation function to check your progress," Zek said as he showed his wrist. "Use it and then do something with the space element."

Almond checked the functions and raised his eyebrows, "Yeah, there's the function. I didn't check many things about this wristband. I should check it later."

"Definitely. Especially the News Channels. But for now, let's see how powerful you got," Zek grinned.

Almond activated the function and then teleported around while slashing thousands of spatial blades in the sky.

'Crap, this time I can use space matter as a proper container and catalyst and not just like a fucking gap,' Almond was thrilled to the maximum as he just made a few moves and realized how much his abilities were going to improve!

Arriving back to Zek, he checked the wristband and saw the result.
