Chapter 267: 3 vs 1 War (1/2)

"This time, we’ll activate the guardian deity statue right off the bat!" the new tribe leader of Hawkfrey Tribe shouted and took out the palm-sized statue of a majestic eagle.

Meanwhile, Lily, Natalia, Grim Breakers, and other gold rankers gathered outside the tribe along with the warriors, looking at the incoming army.

"Fuck, three ships?!"

"They look vastly different from each other..."

"Don’t tell me the other three worlds are fucking working together against us?!"

"Shit!"

"We need Almond here asap!"

"He is on the way."

Almond cursed, his words causing the naturally armored-skin warriors with long-nose-like armadillos to tremble.

A few warriors were dead nearby, and their tribe chief was also dead.

He was just about his mid-speech when he got Sylvia’s message.

"You all, make your tribe understand that it’s now allied to a different force," Almond stood up from his throne, his eyes flashing with silver as he began creating a portal.

"From now on, you are under my rule, and if you stay obedient, you’ll have a future," Almond continued speaking while creating the portal.

"Now go and make your tribe realize that it’s allied to a different force, and your tribe chief is dead. And make sure to elect a new tribe chief from among yourselves."

The warriors saw a portal forming after Almond finished speaking.

"I am going for now, but I will return soon," Almond swept his glance at the warriors before stepping through the portal.

On the other side of the portal that was a kilometer away from the tribe, Almond arrived and saw two giant beasts clashing in the sky—a majestic hawk with variant lightning and wind against an elephant with three trunks.

Meanwhile, a war had just broken out on the ground.

Almond saw three people floating away. His domain could capture a 4-kilometer area so he could see them, but the enemies didn’t know he had arrived.

Without further ado, Almond made his presence known by waving his hand, unleashing an Expotent Severance Blade that increased in size as it traveled by taking space, aimed at the three most powerful aura of three people who were floating a few meters off the ground as the army they brought finally clashed against Hawkfrey Tribe and fifty warriors from other five tribes.

*Swoosh!*

"What the fuck is that?"

"Fuck, dodge!"

Zoltrend reacted barely in time to block, but it wasn’t fast enough as the arms he barely erected to block were cut off while he was shot on the ground and smashed.

Almond wanted to teleport again, but the space suddenly became familiarly wobbly, preventing the teleportation.

’Cyberterra’s space disruptor,’ Almond’s eyes glinted and he burst with golden lightning, transforming and streaking at Leo.

Leo’s pupils shrank with dread, but he quickly reacted, using a skill as a strange spherical field materialized around him.

Almond’s slash streaked first and struck the spherical field. The moment it struck, the field exploded and pushed Leo away, keeping him away from the deadly attack that he knew he would fail to block completely and could result in instant incapacitation.

Moreover, an electromagnetic wave struck Almond in a counter-attack from Leo’s field, making him briefly sluggish.

’The fuck is this defensive counter-skill?’ Almond felt some jolts, but nothing too harmful for this gear set.

But even in that brief time, Leveraum El used his artifact, a scepter, at the opportunity as a ghastly black mist with green and red sparks enveloped Almond, debuffing him.

[Your recovery is halved for 1 minute.]

[Your physical stats will decrease by 50% for 1 minute.]

"Take this!" Zoltrend roared, his head adorning a majestic draconic helmet, an artifact. It crackled with red and violet lightning as he unleashed it on Almond as a destructive draconic maw made of those lightnings clamped on Almond.

However, that brief flash of light from his artifact’s attack illuminated Almond and showed a grin on his lips, causing a chill to crawl down his back.

’No way he was smiling. I must be seeing things.’

*Crackle BOOM!*

The artifact’s power was absolute as the draconic maw clamped and blasted dreadfully. It was a Tier-3 offense-type artifact that killed an Epic-rank boss instantly.

"He should be dead," Leo said as he narrowed his eyes, looking at the blast area swirling with magical smoke and energies.

But suddenly, everyone heard a faint rumble and saw a flash of light.

*Slash!*

Zoltrend and El turned their heads in the same dimension, their hearts racing.

El’s eyes turned bloodshot with desperation and disbelief.

Zoltrend’s pupils shrank, and his figure trembled.

Leo had a vertical slit going on from top to bottom and behind him was Almond who was revealed as Leo’s body split into two and fell.

Almond smiled at them, which caused their hearts to turn cold as they just couldn’t comprehend how Almond survived that artifact’s attack, even seemed completely fine and killed Leo.

’You two must die as well.’
