Chapter 260: A Devastating Attack From Almond On the Tribe [Bonus Chapter]

"Humph, no one can beat the Emperor of Midnight Empire," El snorted before he turned to the Forest-Elves siblings, "Let’s go. Get the bird to return before the barrier deactivates. We can’t handle him right with just us."

Almond continued to observe the group until they left his range of 4 kilometers and saw that the barrier was still maintained till they left.

’It must be based on duration, but to have a Tier-5 defensive artifact...it must be on the same level as the Patel clan’s defensive lotus artifact.’

Almond redirected the flames, and fortunately, the damage to the tribe was minimal with no one dying and only some structure razing due to some amount of flame that poured down before Almond began redirecting it.

The dot poured out flames for thirty-four seconds before stopping.

’I didn’t get full details of those artifacts even with my All-Seeing Eyes. I guess I need to rank up, to get the eyes to see through stronger stuff.’

"Thank you for helping us," the snake tribe bowed while cupping his fist. "If it wasn’t for you, those flames would have caused so much destruction and loss for us."

’This tribe and the Paglan tribe are enemies, so I’ll make a different alliance for this,’ Almond internally grinned.

"I can protect your tribe, and we can also work together to unify this land," Almond smiled. "What do you say, want to form an alliance?"

"You had no reason to help us, yet you did. So, I see no reason to reject this offer, mighty human."

The tribe chief extended his hand with a smile.

Almond laughed and shook hands as he nodded, "Good decision. From now on, don’t bother with the Paglan tribe. I will handle them. You save your energy and stay defensive."

"I am also going to build a portal here and connect it to another at my base, so me and my people can come here in case of emergency."

"That’s fantastic," the tribe chief nodded with shining eyes. "But our scuffle with the Paglan Tribe won’t end since both of us have to visit the Forest of Seeds."

"Hmmm..." Almond thought for a moment and said, "Then do you know any other place with resources?"

"There is one, but it belongs to Hawkfrey Tribe. It’s farther than Forest of Seeds for us, and it’s a mountain instead of a forest, which is more advantageous to the Hawkfrey Tribe."

"Hawkfrey Triebe, eh?" Almond’s eyes flickered as he smiled, "I’ll go and check it out first."

But their barriers shattered almost instantly as two Draconites died before another barrier sprung up and stopped the slash, albeit only for briefly, as it continued a few centimeters before it was stopped by a Legendary item’s effect that Veirat had used, which took a second to fully activate.

"Damn it! Who was it?!"

"My tribe," Hawkfrey tribe chief’s lips trembled as he saw the devastation brought by that attack in his tribe, causing his eyes to turn red.

Meanwhile, Almond got a notification of acquiring 2000 Battlefield points personally for killing two people of Planet Empyradrake.

’Allying with a tribe gives 5000 cumulative points, so we earned 15k already.’

Almond checked out the leaderboard.
