Chapter 266: Mist Tower

Lily and her team finally arrived at the Tower of Time and Space, and the sight before them shocked them. The tower towered into the clouds, its surface smooth as a mirror, emitting a faint blue light. The top of the tower was covered by thick clouds and mist, making it mysterious. Lily knew that this was their last and most difficult step to the truth.

"It seems we have to be careful, there is something wrong with this place." Rhett said, looking at the tower.

Nana nodded in agreement: "The energy here feels very strong, even a little unstable."

"Seal the crack?" The voice sneered, "You don't understand the true meaning of the power of time and space. You intruders are the sinners who disrupt the balance of time and space."

At this moment, dozens of black shadows suddenly appeared around them, holding weapons and slowly approaching Lily and the others. Lily drew out her staff and prepared to fight.

"Wait!" A voice suddenly broke the deadlock. Lily turned her head and saw a young man in a white robe walking out of the darkness. He had a handsome face and calm eyes, but he exuded a powerful aura.

"You are..." Lily asked puzzledly.

"I am another guardian of the tower, Arthur." The man smiled and said, "These shadows are the guards of the tower. They will only attack unauthorized intruders."

Lily frowned: "We have no ill intentions, we just want to seal the cracks in time and space."

Arthur nodded: "I know, but the Tower of Time and Space has its own rules. If you want to seal the crack, you must pass a series of trials to prove that you are qualified."

"What trial?" Xiao Ai asked dissatisfiedly.

Arthur smiled and said, "Everyone has different trials. They will be determined by your inner fears and desires."

Lily pondered for a moment, and finally nodded: "Okay, we accept it."

Arthur waved his hand, and the shadows disappeared into the darkness. He said to Lily and the others, "You will be teleported to different dimensions, and you can only come back here after completing your respective trials."

She closed her eyes, concentrated her mind, and felt the energy in the desert. Suddenly, she felt a strong space-time energy gushing out from the ground. She knew that this was the source of the sandworms. Lily took a deep breath, raised her staff, and injected the power of the key of time and space into the ground. In an instant, a dazzling light rose from the ground, and all the sandworms were destroyed.

Lily breathed a sigh of relief, but she knew that this was just the beginning of the trial.

Meanwhile, Leiter and Nana struggle with their own trials. Leiter is trapped in a maze full of illusions, with danger around every turn. He must face his heart and find his true self. Nana is trapped in an endless ocean, where she must overcome her fear of losing control and find a way out.

Finally, Lily came to a huge door. Ancient runes were engraved on the door, emitting a mysterious light. Lily knew that this was the end of the trial. She took a deep breath and pushed the door open.

Behind the door was an open space, and Arthur stood in the middle. He looked at Lily with a smile: "Congratulations on passing the test."

Lily nodded, "Thank you, but what about the others?"
