Chapter 264 The Mystery of Time Rift

After leaving the Time City, Lily and her companions continued their adventure in the fantasy time and space. They hoped to find clues about the Son of Shadow and uncover the truth behind him. "There's something wrong with this place." Rhett frowned.

"Yeah, it's a strange feeling." Nana nodded in agreement.

Lily felt an inexplicable attraction, and she walked towards the center of the temple step by step. Suddenly, she saw a crack on the ground that was flickering with light, as if attracting her to come closer.

"What is this?" Xiao Ai asked curiously.

Lily squatted down and looked at the crack carefully. The moment she stretched out her finger, the crack suddenly expanded and sucked her in. The others screamed and tried to pull her back, but it was too late. Lily disappeared into the crack, as if she had been swallowed.

"Lily!" Rhett shouted anxiously.

Nana was also panicking: "What should we do?"

"We have to find her!" Leiter said firmly. They searched around the crack for any clues, hoping to find Lily back.

At the same time, Lily found herself in a strange space. This place seemed to be made up of fragments of time, and each fragment reflected a different time and space. She saw her past self, present self, and even future self. All of this shocked and confused her.

"Where is this?" Lily said to herself.

"This is a crack in time, a channel connecting all time and space." A strange voice suddenly sounded.

Lily turned around and saw a white-haired old man wearing an ancient robe and holding a glowing staff in his hand.

"Who are you?" Lily asked warily.

"I am the guardian of time." The old man smiled, "I am here to protect the balance of time."

"Then why did you let me in?" Lily asked.

"Because you are the one chosen by time." The Guardian of Time explained, "You have a unique power that allows you to sense and control the flow of time. And now, the balance of time has been broken again, and you need help to restore the balance."

"Shadow Son again?" Lily frowned.

The Time Guardian shook his head: "It's not just him, there is a greater threat. The appearance of the time rift heralds the awakening of another powerful being. If it is not stopped, this world will fall into eternal chaos."

Lily took a deep breath: "Then what should I do?"

"You need to find the Key of Time. It is the key to controlling the time rift." The Time Guardian handed her an ancient map. "This map will guide you to find it."

"Key of Time?" Lily took the map, full of doubts.

The Time Keeper nodded, "It is a powerful artifact that can seal the rift in time. But be careful, the Shadowborn and others are looking for it. They will never let you succeed easily."

Lily nodded firmly: "I understand. I will do my best to find it."

After a dizzy spell, Lily returned to the abandoned temple again. She found herself standing next to the crack, while Lei Te, Nana and Xiao Ai were looking at her anxiously.

"Are you okay?" Rhett asked with concern.

Lily smiled and nodded: "I'm fine. We have a new mission, to find the Key of Time."

"Key of Time?" Nana asked curiously.

Lily quickly explained everything she had encountered in the time rift and the mission of the Time Guardian. Everyone understood the urgency of the matter and decided to set out immediately to find the Key of Time.

"It seems that this mission is not easy." Xiao Ai said while waving his weapon.

"Yeah, but we're no pushovers either," Rhett said with a smile.

"Who are you?" Lily asked.

The man sneered, "I am the Shadowbringer, a loyal follower of the Son of Shadow. You can't stop us!"

"That's not necessarily true." Lily stepped forward fearlessly.

The battle broke out instantly, and the two sides fought fiercely. The power of the Shadowbringer was so strong that Lily was in trouble for a while. But at the critical moment, her friends worked together and finally repelled the enemy.

"It seems we still have many unknown enemies." Rhett said, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

After a series of thrilling adventures, they finally arrived at the location marked on the map. It was an ancient altar, surrounded by strange symbols and patterns. Lily walked forward and found a key shining with golden light in the center of the altar.

"We have to seal the crack quickly!" Rhett said loudly.

Lily nodded, holding the Key of Time, and stood in the center of the altar. She closed her eyes, concentrated her mind, and channeled the power of the key. As she moved, the symbols around the altar gradually glowed, and the cracks began to slowly close.

"Success!" Xiao Ai shouted excitedly.

Lily opened her eyes and smiled with relief. However, she knew that this was just the beginning. The conspiracy of the Shadow Son was still going on, and they still had many unknown challenges waiting for them.

"Let's go." Lily put away the Key of Time and said firmly.
