Chapter 190 The Mysterious Valley of Lost Memory
Lily and her team had just finished their adventure in the Cake Castle and were ready to enjoy a short break. However, an urgent call from the Dimension Market once again broke their tranquility.
"Princess Lily, this is an urgent request from the Memory Management Bureau." The administrator of the Dimension Market said anxiously.
"Memory Management Bureau? What happened again?" Lily asked with a frown.
"They reported that in a place called Lost Memory Valley, the residents suddenly lost all their memories. You are needed to investigate and restore their memories." The administrator explained.
"Loss of memory? That sounds serious." Nana said worriedly.
"We have to help no matter what," Lily said firmly.
They came to the Lost Valley of Memories through the portal. The scene here was both beautiful and desolate, with towering trees, a layer of light mist all around, and an inexplicable sadness in the air.
"It's really unsettling here." Rhett looked around, holding the Sword of Time in his hand.
"We need to find the person in charge of the Memory Management Bureau." Lily said.
In a small house in the valley, they found the head of the Memory Administration, a middle-aged woman named Elaine, who was anxiously flipping through some ancient scrolls.
"You're finally here, Princess Lily." Elaine breathed a sigh of relief when she saw them. "We have a huge problem."
"What happened?" Lily asked.
"A mysterious energy wave suddenly hit the valley, and the memories of all the residents were wiped out. We suspect it was some kind of powerful magic that was at work," Elaine explained.
"We need to find out why the memories were erased and restore them," Lily said.
Elaine led them to the center of the valley, where there was a huge stone tablet engraved with complex runes.
“This stone tablet is the memory core of the entire valley, but now it is covered by a dark energy and we need to purify it,” said Elaine.
"We need to work together," Lily said.
They began to cast magic around the stone tablet, trying to dispel the dark energy. However, the dark energy was extremely strong and their magic seemed to have no effect.
"This dark energy is too strong. We need to find its source," said Nana.
Under Elaine's guidance, they headed to an abandoned temple deep in the valley. The temple was filled with a strange atmosphere, and the walls were engraved with disturbing patterns.
"There must be clues here." Rhett said, and he began to search every corner carefully.
Suddenly, they found an ancient magic book, which recorded a powerful memory magic that seemed to be related to the problems they encountered.
"This must be the cause of the memory loss," Lily said, "We need to break the spell."
As they were studying the magic book, a figure walked out from the shadows. It was a man in a black robe with a sneer on his face.
“You actually found this place.” The man said, “I’m Dax, and all of this is my masterpiece.”
"Why did you erase the residents' memories?" Lily demanded.
"Memory is the most precious thing for human beings. I want to let them know the pain of losing memory." Dax sneered.
"We won't let you succeed." Rhett said, gripping the Sword of Time tightly.
A fierce battle unfolded in the temple. Dax's magic was extremely powerful, but Lily and her team were not afraid and used the illusion magic they learned to fight against Dax.
During the battle, Xiao Ai used illusions to create a fake Lily, successfully confusing Dax. Nana used magic to block Dax's actions, and Leiter took the opportunity to smash Dax's magic wand with the Sword of Time.
"You won, but that doesn't mean everything is over." Dax said gritting his teeth, then disappeared in a black mist.
"We succeeded!" Xiao Ai cheered.
They returned to the stone tablet and cast magic again, and this time the dark energy was finally dispelled. The stone tablet regained its original light, and the residents of the valley gradually regained their memories.
"Thank you, Princess Lily and her team." Elaine said gratefully, "You saved the Lost Valley of Memory."
"It's our duty," Lily said with a smile.
After leaving the Lost Valley of Memory, Lily and her team felt a sense of relief.
"This mission was really challenging, but we also learned a lot," said Xiao Ai.
"Yes, memories are very precious, we must cherish them." said Rhett.
"Where are we going next?" Nana asked.
“It’ll be a fantastic adventure wherever we go,” Lily said with a smile.
The team continued to move forward in the sunshine, and new adventures were waiting for them. Although the future was full of unknowns, they knew that as long as they united as one, they could overcome all challenges.
"Let's go to the next stop and continue our fantasy journey through time and space!" Lily announced loudly.
In the morning light, their backs look particularly determined, and new adventures are waiting for them ahead.
