Chapter 157: A Game of Time Travel

Lily and her companions returned to the academy with the treasure of the temple and were warmly welcomed by the instructors. The academy was full of joy, but Lily always had a premonition that this adventure was not the end.

A few days later, the academy bell rang suddenly, which was a signal to call all the instructors and students. Everyone quickly gathered in the hall, and the dean stood solemnly on the podium, holding a glittering letter in his hand.

"Dear colleagues," the dean began, "we have received a distress signal from another time and space."

The hall fell silent instantly, and everyone held their breath, waiting for the dean's explanation.

"This distress signal comes from a parallel world, similar to ours but different. They are facing an irresistible disaster, and only we can help them." The dean continued.

Lily's heart tightened, she felt that this would be an unprecedented challenge. Sure enough, the dean looked at her with eyes full of trust and expectation.

"Lily, you and your team have demonstrated unparalleled courage and wisdom in past adventures. We need you to complete this mission."

Lily nodded: "We are willing to accept this challenge."

Next, the dean showed them a device that could travel through time and space. This was the academy's secret invention, which could open a space-time channel and lead them to another world.

With the help of the academy instructors, Lily and her companions put on special protective gear and stood in the center of the device. With a flash of dazzling light, they were instantly teleported to a whole new world.

When they opened their eyes, they found themselves standing on a vast grassland, with rolling mountains and sparkling lakes in the distance. A woman in a gorgeous robe stood in front of them, her hair cascading down like a waterfall, and her eyes sparkling with wisdom.

"Welcome, I am the guardian of this world, Alia." The woman said with a smile.

"Alia, we received your distress signal, please tell us what happened." Lily asked.

Alia took them into an ancient castle, where the history and secrets of the world were kept. She showed them a scroll depicting a devastating war and a powerful magical creature, the Dragon of Time and Space.

"The Dragon of Time and Space was once the guardian of our world, but for some reason, it was controlled by dark forces and began to destroy our home. We tried to stop it, but we didn't have enough power." Alia said, her eyes full of helplessness and sadness.

"We need to find the weakness of the Time and Space Dragon and rescue it from the dark forces." Mo Li said.

Alia nodded. "That's right, but we need a special magical scroll hidden in a cursed maze. Only the bravest and wisest can find it."

"Looks like we have a new adventure." Xiaopang grinned.

Alia gave them a map that marked the entrance to the maze, and Lily and her friends set out on an adventure again.

The entrance to the maze is located on a towering cliff, surrounded by dense jungle. After entering the maze, they found that the roads here are intricate and there are strange mechanisms and traps appearing from time to time.

"This place is really a huge puzzle." Feng Yang exclaimed.

"We have to tread carefully," Lily warned.

Along the way, they encountered various challenges, including giant stone statues, flame-spraying traps, and some seemingly harmless but murderous plants. Lily and her friends worked together and finally reached the center of the maze.

In the center was a spacious hall with intricate runes carved into the floor. At the end of the hall was a tall stone platform with a scroll glowing blue on it.

"That's the magic scroll we are looking for!" Mo Li said excitedly.

Just as they were about to go forward to retrieve the scroll, the ground suddenly shook, and a huge monster emerged from the ground. It was a lizard-like monster, covered with shiny scales, and with an evil light in its eyes.

"Looks like we have to deal with this big guy first." Lily drew her sword and prepared for battle.

The monster roared and spit out a ball of fire. Lily and her friends scattered and avoided the attack. Mo Li cast magic, Feng Yang used a bow and arrow to attack from a distance, and Xiao Pang looked for the monster's weakness.

After a fierce battle, Lily seized the opportunity and stabbed the monster's eye with a sword. The monster screamed and fell to the ground. Lily hurried forward and picked up the magic scroll.

"We succeeded!" Xiaopang cheered.

Lily unfolded the scroll, and the runes on it began to glow. The scroll automatically floated in the air, emitting a dazzling light. In the light, a path leading to the lair of the dragon of time and space appeared.

"This is the road to the Dragon of Time and Space." Alia's voice sounded in their ears, "You need to go there as soon as possible. Time is running out."

Lily and her friends quickly left the maze and followed the path guided by the light. Along the way, they encountered more challenges, but they overcame them one by one with courage and wisdom.

Finally, they came to the lair of the Space-Time Dragon. It was a huge cave, full of glittering crystals and mysterious runes. The Space-Time Dragon was lying in the center of the cave. Its body was huge, and its scales were shining with colorful light, but its eyes were full of pain and anger.

"We must save it from the dark forces," Lily said firmly.

They followed the instructions on the scroll and began to cast magic. Alia appeared behind them, chanting a spell in a soft voice, and the light enveloped the Dragon of Time and Space again.

The eyes of the Space-Time Dragon gradually softened, and the dark power on its body began to dissipate. Finally, it let out a low roar and returned to its original state.

"Thank you, brave adventurers." The Dragon of Time and Space said in a deep voice, "You have saved our world."

Lily and her friends breathed a sigh of relief and felt an unprecedented sense of accomplishment. Alia smiled and said, "You not only saved our world, but also gave us hope."

They were treated like heroes in this parallel world, but Lily knew that their adventure was not over yet. The journey ahead was still full of unknowns and challenges, but she firmly believed that with her companions, she would be able to overcome all difficulties.
