Chapter 129 Palace Incident

As soon as Lily and her team returned to their own world, they were surrounded by a noise and chaos. There were a lot of people moving around inside and outside the palace, which seemed very unusual. "It seems like we missed something big." Mo Li said in a low voice.

"Who dares to attack the prince? The Queen Mother will not let him go." Another palace maid responded.

Lily was shocked. The prince was being plotted against? This was a big deal, and she immediately decided to investigate. In order not to arouse suspicion, she asked the team to split up and ask for information on their own.

Lily came to the prince's bedroom alone and saw the queen mother and several ministers nervously discussing countermeasures. She moved closer and heard the queen mother's calm and firm voice: "No matter who it is, we must find out who is behind this and will not tolerate it!"

At this moment, a figure suddenly appeared in front of Lily. It was the time traveler - Jasmine.

"Jasmine? Why are you here?" Lily asked in surprise.

"I have important information." Jasmine smiled mysteriously, "Follow me."

Lily followed without hesitation, and Jasmine brought her to a secret basement where several people had gathered. Lily looked around and saw some familiar faces, all of whom were friends she had met in the fantasy world before.

Jasmine nodded: "We already have some clues, and we suspect that a minister in the palace is behind this."

"Who is it?" Lily asked anxiously.

"It's the Prime Minister. He has always been dissatisfied with the Crown Prince's reforms and has long wanted to replace him." Jasmine replied.

"It seems that we have to find something to hold against him." A cold light flashed in Lily's eyes.

The alliance members took action to collect evidence, while Lily and Jasmine decided to sneak into the Prime Minister's mansion to find out the truth.

It was late at night, the Prime Minister's house was brightly lit, and the Prime Minister was having a secret conversation with a mysterious person in the secret room. Lily and Jasmine sneaked in and eavesdropped through the window.

"Are you sure the prince won't wake up again?" the prime minister asked insidiously.

"Don't worry, I've already administered the strongest poison, there's no way he can survive." The mysterious man replied.

Lily and Jasmine looked at each other and immediately decided to act. They took the opportunity to sneak into the secret room, quickly subdued the mysterious man, and found evidence that the prime minister had murdered the prince.

The prime minister panicked and saw no hope of escape, so he had to be taken back to the palace. When the queen mother learned the news, she immediately ordered the arrest of the prime minister and his accomplices, and sent someone to treat the prince.

The prince finally woke up, physically weak but in good spirits. He thanked Lily and her team for their help and expressed his willingness to join them in fighting any force that threatens the peace of time and space.

The prince nodded: "I am willing to join, and we will work together to face the challenges of the future."
