Planet Master

199- Return

199- Return

The inside of the Mothership.Tritis, her Battle Legion, Dian and his group, the Slayer Division and Jeliel were attempting to harmonize all the transcendent energy she could gather.

Jeliel then found out that a slight abnormality was found on the transcendent energy but let it transfer to the bow cannon.

“Detecting the slight abnormality.”

“Attempting to decrypt the abnormality…failed.”

“Let the flow of transcendent energy charge the bow cannon…complete.”

“Firing in 3, 2, 1…fire!”

Then the entire Mothership shook as the Mothership opened its hull slightly to reveal a bow cannon. The charged-up bow cannon was composed of the transcendent energy of everyone on the Mothership so its lethality was guaranteed.

Then the Mothership moved some more before a large wall was visible in front of the Mothership.

It was not a wall if you looked closer. It was actually a large number of Soldier-class Outer Beings congregating on the perimeter. The Outer Being then, as if responding, formed a tight wall.

The bow cannon fired and a brilliant light filled the universe as it blew the hole in the wall that the Outer Beings had formed.

Not only that but the dust which formed from the remnants of the Outer Being slowly flowed into the Mothership and assimilated with the four humans.

“Again!?” Tatsumi wanted to protest but the quantity of the dust was large enough that he needed some time to sort things out. This also included Ame, Charlene and Long Wu.

They also grimaced at the sight but since it was a blessing, they should accept it lest they incur the wrath of some laws for denying the gift they had been given.

The Mothership then quickly went to the hole and escaped successfully to the Command Center of Magadan Frontline.

“I can’t believe that we're really hunting the Soldier-class Outer Being. My horizon has been broadened.” Ao Guang bowed slightly toward Dian and his group.

“Initially, I even thought that the hunt would be hard. Who would’ve thought that with Seniors helping us, we would be taking an easier time?” Tatsumi, as the representative of his civilization, had to step up.

Jeliel’s eyes flashed with white light.

“According to my calculation, it is impossible for the Outer Being to vanish. But to assimilate it so perfectly, it is unprecedented.” Jeliel said.

“We don’t even know the exact mechanism or the exact reason why. But assimilating them for humans is like getting stronger, like absorbing transcendent energy.” Ao Guang was astounded by these points.

“Perhaps they are simply returning to their origin. But this is just my assumption and can be wrong.” Tritis said while looking at Dian and his group.

“Thanks for your help. Without you all, I would face difficulty in my requirement.” Dian said while bowing. Tatsumi as if feeling the cue, also followed suit along with the others.

They knew that they were getting help from entities stronger than even their Father God so showing respect and sincerely giving thanks were a must.

“We just did this to protect Her Excellency Tritis. Since She wanted to help you, we are also going to help you. It’s simple and plain.” Ao Guang said.

As the person closest to his Supreme Being, he knew that whatever transpired here would be transmitted and sensed by his Supreme Being. The fact that there was a race that could reduce the Outer Beings to mere transcendent resources was unprecedented.

“Fine. If that is how you see it, then we should have a clear boundary.” Dian raised his body and nodded with a focused look.

“Thank you for helping, you two.” Tritis smiled and gave her thanks to the Slayer Division and Jeliel.

“We’ve arrived.” Jeliel announced and as expected, the familiar-looking fortified fortress was in sight even from the bridge.

Then all of the passengers dropped out of the Mothership.

“We have returned to the rear, it seems.” Dian looked around him and recognized that this was the same rear he had come from before.

“Alright. With this, the escort mission from my Supreme Being can be considered done.” Ao Guang said as he and the Slayer Division prepared to leave and return to another Frontline to stand by.

“Your Excellency. I also need to leave as my Creator needs me after the mission. Please excuse me.” Jeliel said before she returned to the Mothership and left.

Then Ao Guang and the Slayer Division also left Tritis and Dian along with their group.

“What should we do now?” Dian asked Tritis. After confirming that they were in a safe environment, he relaxed slightly.

“We need to check ourselves for any remaining corruption ray. Not to make you worry but some of your group directly assimilated the Outer Being so I am afraid that they will also emit the corruption ray.” Tritis said.

“But I don’t detect anything on them ever since they assimilated the Outer Being, though?” Dian tilted his head in confusion and Tatsumi and the other three froze.

“This is important since this can show the degree of assimilation from your human race.” Tritis insisted.

“Fine. Let’s check things so that everyone will be safe.” Dian smacked his lips and had to agree since there were other individuals in his group and also Tritis’ Battle Legion.

Then they went to the fortified fortress, which also served as a Command Center.

Just as they entered the Command Center, they were greeted by the Commander.

“Hmm, you smell like Outer Beings. What did you do?” Leah, the half-beast, sniffed the air since it was sensitive to the smell of the Outer Beings.

“We are hunting them, and they reacted.” Tritis said to Leah in a slightly relaxed tone.

“Hunt the Outer Being? Are we on the stage where we can eliminate them?” Leah asked.

“Not at the moment. Do you smell those four there?” Tritis pointed at Tatsumi, Ame, Charlene and Long Wu.

“Yes. But, it’s a bit strange. I mean, they reek of that smell but not by much. And even as we speak, the smell started to dissipate.” Leah twitched her ears and her nose sniffed again to confirm her words.

“Really? Then wouldn’t that mean the corruption ray from them will disappear?” Tritis became hopeful.

“Let’s test it, then.” Leah then gestured for the machine to be brought to her. After it was brought there, Tritis’ Battle Legion and Dian’s group were checked for a corruption ray. They did it one by one so the process was a bit long. Fortunately, the check was thorough so that each one could be fully secure returning to the interior of the Universe Field.

Only when the four humans were tested did Dian become a bit nervous. After all, the corruption effect and the corruption ray were something he had only encountered in the Frontline.

Tritis patiently explained the concept to Him while his group went battling and hunting the Outer Beings.

Corruption was something that the Outer Beings were capable of, and they constantly emit corruption rays. But Dian realized that corruption could be assimilated by humans, so his group of mixed races could safely battle the Outer Beings without fear of being corrupted.

As the machine scanned the four humans, it detected the corruption, and even if there was, it was at the safety threshold so the detectors did not go off.

But a reminder was noted.

“The corruption ray is within the safety threshold. This will be noted down.”

The machine gave a reminder which made Tatsumi and the other three breathe a sigh of relief. The humans would probably be fine but what about the other races in the civilization? They would not be able to withstand the corruption ray, not to mention children and toddlers.

“Good. You all can go back.” Leah said after confirming the safety of the civilizations from the groups.

“Thank you for checking things. I am indebted to you.” Dian said seriously.

He had almost neglected the issue of the corruption rays but no longer did that since it would affect the other races. In fact, he found out that Tatsumi wanted to use this as a potential weapon against the enemy in the Star Battle.

Dian facepalmed as he peeked at Tatsumi’s mind.

Even Charlene was going to analyze the corruption itself so that she could not only emulate it but also use it however she wished.

Truly a pair of Star Children they were.

“No need to worry about corruption ray after this, right?” Tritis let out a smile and she turned to Tabitha.

“Child, what is it that you desire?” Tritis asked.

Dian could accept that Tabitha could form a relationship with Tatsumi but from the way Tritis said it, it was as if there was a method that could make individuals from Her Core Race be relocated to another place.

And by another place, Dian thought about the Virya Star System location. Although the location was relatively secure, but if Tritis sent someone to Him, it would mean that He opened a path to another Planet Master.

This was a dangerous move but Dian felt that with Tritis helping Him so much, doing this would mean that a diplomatic relationship had formed.

“My deity, I…want to be with him. This is the first time that I have interest in someone.” Tabitha said, although her veil almost hid her blush, but Dian could still perceive it.

“That can be arranged. Provided that you have permission from Him.” Tritis said as she gestured to Dian.

Tabitha nodded toward Tritis before she walked toward Dian.

“Esteemed deity of humans, can you allow me to go to your place? Please.” Tabitha said with a serious expression.

Dian went silent for a while, which made Tabitha nervous.

Tatsumi, who looked at the exchange, was also nervous for some reason.

“Ha. What to do…I feel like I should not do this but since this involved your relationship, why don’t you ask the person yourself?” Dian said. He was actually giving consent as long as Tatsumi was willing, throwing the permission to him.

“I…allow it.” Tatsumi said. He had considered many factors and for him, the presence of someone trustworthy was needed to form a healthy relationship.

Tatsumi thought that Father God needed more allies so that when trouble came, He would have support.

His thought was also read by Dian. He felt gratified that someone was thinking about His well-being. Furthermore, he truly needed allies who could help Him and being helped by him. Not just a small circle He had formed but extended toward those Planet Masters who were still governing their planets and races.

“Thank you.” Tabitha smiled as she got the permission and then was allowed to be in the area where Dian reigned.

“Please remember that you will be the bridge that connects me to Him.” Tritis said to Tabitha.

“I will not forget what has happened here.” Tabitha said before Tritis did something through the Planet Master System.

Dian and His group were forming an encirclement centered around Dian.

“What do you gain from this short but eventful journey?” Dian asked.

“We know that there is a formidable enemy called Outer Beings, which can cause corruption syndrome to any living being except humans.” Tatsumi replied. He had formed an opinion regarding the Outer Being, but this was what he thought about the situation.

“Then there is also corruption syndrome. The assessment was that it spread through contact with the remnants of the Outer Beings or exposure to a corruption ray.” Charlene added.

“Furthermore, the ones we fought are only lower-rank Outer Beings. Those higher will probably notice this incident and try something different for once.” Ame stated.

“Other than that, we are getting stronger at an exponential rate.” Long Wu’s voice came and went but was noticed by the group.

“Right. With that, the first expedition outside our world is complete.” Dian was now pleased. Although Charlene had some additional gains in terms of technological means, but she did not say it because she wanted to surprise everyone with her results.

As Dian said this, something in the Planet Master System was operating.

Tritis also moved her hands and operated the Planet Master System to give a room for Tabitha to be able to go to Dian’s place.

Dian then saw the new message that Tritis sent through the Planet Master System.

[Tritis: From now on, Tabitha will be in your care.]

[Dian: Hmm, alright. But the presence of such a strong being will be affecting me in some ways, yes?]

[Tritis: Don’t worry. I will take care of that matter.]

Then Dian saw an announcement from the Planet Master System.

[Your Friend ‘Tritis’ has sent you a recommendation letter.]

Dian then proceeded to read the recommendation letter at a quick pace. Ever since his promotion to the Third Rank Planet Master, he could read things fast enough to understand them despite the fast reading.

In summary, it entailed the individual recommended to be by the side of His civilization. This was an exchange between civilizations. Truthfully, Dian wanted to do the same but he knew that this was a one-way thing since his rank was still low.

Then He accepted the recommendation letter and now felt a connection with Tabitha. Tabitha, too, felt the connection and nodded toward Him.

“What is happening?” Tatsumi looked at Dian and Tabitha and knew that something was going on but could not put a finger on what exactly. One thing was for sure: Tabitha had a connection to the Father God.

Tabitha then said some words to her companion. Although they were very reluctant to let her go away, they decisively respected her choice since even their deity agreed to it.

But their bitterness was soon turned into motivation. They wanted to be as strong as her in support so that they could see for themselves the humans and other races under them. Their civilization would surely be fascinating; that was what they thought.

Then after that, Tabitha came toward Dian and his group.

“Please, take care of me.” Tabitha said.

“Well, come with us then.” Dian nodded and gestured to her to join his group.

“This is a temporary separation.” Tritis said to Dian. Dian blinked his eyes, ruminating on her words.

“Yes. I hope that when I meet you again, I have become stronger and my rank is higher.” Dian replied with a slight hopeful smile.

Then they entered the chamber to return to the Stargate. From the Stargate, Tritis’ Battle Legion and Dian’s group finally separated.

“As usual, stick close to me.” Dian said and everyone in the group now stuck close to him.

With the permission granted by the Planet Master System, Dian and the others returned to His Planet Master Space.

“I’ve returned.” Dian murmured.

“This familiar place is really the same place as before. Well, we are going to return home.” Tatsumi looked around and said this. He did not know the name of this space so he could only name it God’s Domain.

“Alright, you all need to form a group. I will send you back to the Cerulean Planet. That also includes you, Tabitha.” Dian said as he prepared to do so.

Despite transporting a Rank 9 transcendent, Dian felt no resistance whatsoever. Perhaps the teleportation method of the Planet Master System was that advanced.

“Do you want to come to our home?” Ame asked Tabitha.

“Can I?” Tabitha was elated but she restrained herself. She wanted to see with her own eyes the budding human civilization.

“Of course you can. Well, you can be considered one of our family.” Charlene interjected.

“True. But as I told you, I already fathered two children. Although they are already mature, you also need to know them as well.” Tatsumi added.

“It’s fine by me.” Tabitha nodded in agreement.

Then the group gathered and Dian transported them back to the place where they had gathered before doing this.

As they returned to the Cerulean Planet, gasps of surprise were heard by the people nearby.

“Ah, the time is right for the busy hours. Well, inform them that we are the returning transcendent.” Tatsumi blinked and immediately noticed the commotion their group had caused.

After informing the people nearby, the situation returned under control and the group finally could disband.

As for Dian, he finally could sit on his throne where he could oversee the entire territory under his civilization.

He first checked the overall condition of the civilization. He looked carefully at the growth rate and realized that the development of technology did not stop and instead increased. Specifically, it leaned toward exploration outside the Virya Star System.

Then the transcendent development was also on track and healthy. After the group’s return, He would expect explosive growth and development. After all, the transcendents that was with him were getting stronger and Charlene was able to reverse-engineer some of the features of the Mothership.

Then he checked the population of the Cerulean Planet. It had reached seven billion and the civilization on the planet was thriving.

Then he checked on Futuro, Bultar, Ghowul, Solont and Rodentia. All of those life planets were developing in a positive direction so he let them be for now.

Then he connected with the Planet Spirits.

“My Master. You have returned!” the appearing Cerulean Planet Spirit was happy when her Master was present.

“Alright. You only need to tell me about the happenings on the Cerulean Planet. Although I have seen the data but I need to know the intricate details while I was gone.” Dian said while sitting on the throne and put his chin on the back of his right hand.

“Yes, Master.” The Cerulean Planet Spirit then told Dian numerous things.

From the development of the latest Warp Engine to the manufacturer's breakthrough, which resulted in cheaper but sturdy materials for both the construction of buildings and spaceships.
