Otherworldly Desert Dust

Chapter 66 - 63 Yin Gong in the Temple

Chapter 66 - 63 Yin Gong in the Temple

Walking deeper into the temple fair, Wu Hen saw a mass of chaotic objects.

They were also Yin Ants, but fundamentally different from those White Bone Yin Ants. Without using Spiritual Vision, one could hardly detect them.

The Chaotic Yin Ants formed an Ancient Temple, inside which there were some Mist Hidden Divine Sculptures. They obviously didn’t truly exist here.

At the center, a majestic Yin Gong sat upright, dressed in an ancient Divine Robe, his face stern and noble, his eyes shining like stars and moon. A layer of pristine Holy Light draped over his body like a cassock, giving off an aura of the divine presence in the City God Temple. A mere glance made one instinctively bow in worship.

Wu Hen was astonished, suspecting this figure to be the Underworld Priest from folklore.

"Now that you see me, why don’t you kneel?" the Temple Yin Lord questioned.

Wu Hen could sense the overbearing aura exuded by the Temple Yin Lord, as if he had never considered a mere mortal like Wu Hen worth his notice, with a faint hint of disdain and detachment in his words.

"If those outside kneel, can they leave?" Wu Hen asked.

"No," the Temple Yin Lord replied with traces of impatience in his tone.

"What about the Yin Pole Longmen Technique?" Wu Hen continued to ask.

In a few words, Wu Hen had tested the patience of the Temple Yin Lord. He slowly closed his eyes, lifted his noble chin, and refused to converse with Wu Hen further.

But the temple boy understood intuitively. He walked to Wu Hen’s side and said morosely, "To learn the Yin Pole Longmen Technique, you must first become a citizen of Yinzhou. You have performed outstandingly, so you are allowed to end your life yourself, with dignity."

Upon hearing this, Wu Hen was already cursing inwardly!

So, one must turn into these neither-human-nor-ghost beings to learn the Yin Pole Longmen Technique!

Eat shit!

Others say to practice this skill, one needs to first castrate oneself.

But for them, to practice this skill, one must first slit one’s own throat!!

He wasn’t insane!

Indeed, there was no hoping for any kindness from the predators of Desert Dust...

"Take it. To receive holy judgment here and to offer your sincerity before the Lord, you are already above those fools outside," the temple boy handed Wu Hen a short sword, presenting it like the highest reward for a devoted subject.

Suicide was their greatest gift!

Wu Hen finally saw the true faces of these Venerable Desert Dust!

They were not only cruel and cold predators but also wanted these weak beings to satisfy their vanity and nobility.

Clearly, they could kill everyone trapped in Yinzhou in one go, yet they held a grand ritual of underworld entertainment, for their amusement and to elevate their pomp!

"Must you kill us?" Wu Hen raised his gaze and coldly questioned the Temple Yin Lord.

"Ignorant, life and death are without boundaries!" the Temple Yin Lord thundered, his voice boomed like a thunderclap on a clear day, causing the entire Yinzhou City to tremble!

"Since there are no boundaries, why not let us choose ourselves? If I decided your life and death, would you accept?" Wu Hen asked.

"Hahahaha!! You????" the Temple Yin Lord suddenly burst into laughter, genuinely amused, as though he had found a talking ant, an ant audacious enough to claim it would rule over him!

The temple boy nearby was anxious, clearly in great fear of the Yin Lord.

He held the short sword given to Wu Hen for self-termination, trembling and urgently signaling Wu Hen to act quickly, not to utter another word!

"Is it funny?" Wu Hen lifted his face and looked at the high-and-mighty Temple Yin Lord, "Your words just now were equally absurd!"

The Temple Yin Lord no longer needed to converse with a mere mortal like Wu Hen; after laughing, he gave the temple boy a look.

The temple boy immediately understood. He suddenly grabbed the short sword and aimed it fiercely at Wu Hen’s heart!

Wu Hen felt he had reached his limit, and called out to the Miracle Material slumbering within him!

In fact, without Wu Hen’s shout, a microcosm inside him had already sprouted Miracle Buds, which, upon blooming, released Miracle Thunder through his blood, meridians, bones, and muscles. Wu Hen’s body became like a vast world, with flashes of thunder and manifest Holy Light!

Billions of Black Void energies radiated outward from Wu Hen’s body as the origin, swallowing the extreme light of the underworld and engulfing the vast Yinzhou. Even the colossal Yin Gong eyes were submerged in the Black Void world, incapable of exerting spiritual domination!

Wu Hen felt his spirit return to his body. As he raised his right hand again, the golden saber had transformed into a Black Void Death Sword, its shadow so grand it obscured Yinzhou City!

A pair of enormous, star-like eyes.

A vast, galaxy-like sword shadow, tip pointing at the Yin Gong’s eyes.

One step forward and he could pierce the Yin Gong’s eyes!

"Hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!"

The Temple Yin Lord suddenly burst into laughter, his laughter filled with contempt and mockery.

"I admit, the power within you is rare and immensely strong, enough not to kneel before the Venerable Desert Dust. But your lowly human perspective is far too limited; you cannot see the essence of Desert Dust, nor my true form... You think standing before me and striking with your sword means you’ve won? Do you truly believe I haven’t prepared for you???"

The Temple Yin Lord’s body flickered, becoming as insubstantial as the statues beside him, presenting a misty unreal appearance.

Likewise, the colossal eyes watching over Yinzhou City seemed illusionary and indistinguishable...

The vast Yinzhou City began to strangely boil, countless Yin Ants losing their order and crawling chaotically like a white flood...

"An ant remains an ant!"

"Seeing the blue sky, they think it’s just a big blue leaf!"

"Your internal substance is extremely weak; exposing it brings down the Venerable. No one has ever taught you that walking in Desert Dust means not revealing your True Soul so easily???

The Temple Yin Lord’s body flickered in and out of existence as he laughed arrogantly, mocking the human’s ignorance.

The vastness of Desert Dust indeed allowed some lowly creatures to gain divine miracles from heaven and earth. However, such individuals could never hold heaven’s miracles for long.

"Oh?"

"You think you’re clever, hiding your True Soul well???"

As the Temple Yin Lord laughed, Wu Hen laughed as well.

"This Yinzhou City never existed, built from Yin Ant illusions."

"The ghosts here likewise didn’t exist, played by the minds you infested."

"This temple, with its divine mist statues, even without Spiritual Vision, is known to be void."

"Mirage is as Mirage does; where there’s shadow, there’s true form. You think you’re smart, hiding in a nook of endless sands, projecting a false Yinzhou mirage, controlling everything within like a master of life???"

Wu Hen slowly raised the Black Divine Death Sword, its shadow looming, making the Yin Ants panic. They no longer moved with military precision!

Suddenly, Wu Hen lifted his gaze. Miracle Buds blossomed in his eyes, his pupils shot like lightning through the sky, shattering the chaotic light dust above, directly hitting the massive Light Dust Sky Eye!!

The Light Dust Sky Eye was just a pinhole. As the sword shadow expanded, beams of Yin Pole Heavenly Light pierced through, reflecting on the vast desert basin.

"You exalt yourself, using mirages to set a giant sandbox."

"You use shadows to terrify us, who live in caves."

"If not for your arrogance, continually casting shadows, my limited vision wouldn’t find your True Soul or physical form."

"But you insisted on speaking with me, proving your grandeur. A slight probe, and you couldn’t wait to belittle me with your lofty laughter..."

"Indeed, I cannot see you."

"But I hear the revolting sound from your throat, like a gnawing yin rat in a graveyard devouring rotten flesh!"
