Chapter 432
Chapter 432
Anton and his family enjoyed watching the new television show even though they were only on the second episode. His father commented that each episode had the feel of a movie so it felt like they were watching a series of films instead of a television show. He agreed with his father but then while browsing the internet, he saw that one of his most favorite book series which was the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan and Brian Sanderson was made into a television show.
He had two minds about it. Game of Thrones was fine since, just like The Lord of The Rings, he hadn’t read the books, but The Wheel of Time was different. It was the only series of books that he actually saved money to buy.
The first book, which was The Eye of The World, was found by him accidentally since someone left it on one of the tables in the library one night and when he saw that it was the first book of a fantasy series, he started reading it and it was divine. It had all the things that Anton needed in a fantasy series. A group of young people pushed into a grand adventure in a world full of magic and monsters.
Because of how much he loved the book, Anton heavily doubted that the new television series would be able to live up to the books. Much like the Harry Potter films. Even though they were supposed to be good, he doubted that they truly copied the essence of what made the world created by J.K. Rowling truly magical. How could a two-hour film capture the details of the day-to-day adventures of the students of Hogwarts?
The new week arrived, and Anton attended his magic classes, excited at the knowledge that he was learning from his teachers. He had recommended to the others that they take the same classes during the next semester since knowing the basics would be a good foundation for them.
Anna argued that since she was still young, she planned to attend a magic academy once they reached the new city, and the basics of magic would be covered there. In the meantime, it was much more important for her and the others to learn much more practical things like the intricacies a magic combat. Not only that, but every mage in the family thought that because of what was happening in the world, it would be more important for them to increase their power by increasing their wizardly rank so they could cast more powerful spells.
Lunch with his classmates was a meeting about which movies they would cosplay at, but to be honest, all the decisions would lie on Fiona and Minerva, and the two girls were still undecided on which film they would choose. They already had a written list of characters, but their problem was the re
The first semester, which was supposed to last for two months, ended, but the promised study renewal did not occur, and the mages announced that there would be a month-long vacation and the lessons would restart once they left their next stop.
The only thing that Anton could think of was that the most powerful mages on the ship had received a message that caused them to change their plans, and he wondered if it was related to the Undead Coalition.
