Chapter 447 - Just Kidding

"Did he see everything? If he was, what should I say now, I am very confused and need enlightenment so that I do not say wrong. Oh God, help me!". Inner Qiara. 

"Why are you silent? Am I right?". Asked Maxwell again while squinting his eyes to corner Qiara who was still silent. 

"I...".

Qiara's mouth stiffened to continue her words because she was completely confused and didn't know what to say to Maxwell. 

"Why do you look so scared like that? I'm just asking, not wanting to eat you. Besides, I'm just kidding!". Said Maxwell while holding Qiara's right hand with his sweetest smile.

"Oh my god... Boss makes me nervous". Qiara said as she breathed a sigh of relief because all she had heard earlier was just for fun.

"Let her go!".

Maxwell and Qiara immediately turned to the source of the sound when they heard that deep, terrifying voice.

Qiara glared when she saw Julian standing in front of the entrance, she immediately swallowed deeply.

"What should I do, Boss Maxwell can know that I'm married, after that he will definitely dump me from YM Entertainment". Inner Qiara anxiously.

Meanwhile, Maxwell smiled bitterly at the arrival of Julian, who he thought had left the restaurant area far away. 

At that moment, Maxwell's cell phone sounded, immediately Qiara felt saved because Maxwell immediately picked up the call and let go of Qiara's grip.

"Sorry Mr. Ju, next time we will talk, I have to go now!". Maxwell said, patting Julian on the shoulder. 

After that he left Julian and Qiara without any more words.

"Why is Maxwell here?". Asked Julian with a dark expression. 

Qiara shuddered at Julian's terrible gaze because she thought Julian was thinking things through her. 

"I accidentally met Boss Maxwell here, I also don't know what he wants. Maybe, he wants to eat". Qiara answered carefully because she was worried that Julian would be jealous. 

"Why did you let him hold your hand?". Julian asked with an intimidating look.

Qiara was silent for a moment because she thought it would be bad if she was honest, Qiara fell into a dilemma. Maxwell was just kidding, but if she told Julian wouldn't believe it.

"Ummm ... Honey, why did you come back again? Didn't you rush to the office earlier?". Asked Qiara who tried to change the conversation. 

"I left my cell phone, that's why I'm back". Julian answered without emotion.

"Where?". Qiara asked confusedly because she didn't see Julian's cell phone everywhere.

"Looks like it fell in your bag".

Qiara immediately checked her bag, she saw that Julian's cell phone was indeed there. Just when she wanted to turn on the cellphone, Julian grabbed it nervously. 

"Ehh ..." Qiara is shocked to see Julian steal her cellphone.

"Sorry, I have to call my client so I grab this phone quickly!".

Qiara immediately nodded because she believed what Julian said. 

"Alright, let me take you back!". Julian said again after he put his cell phone in his coat pocket. 

"No, I can take a taxi. Now, you just go because you've been waiting for your client!". Said Qiara while encouraging Julian to go first.

"Okay, later you will send a message when you arrive. And one more thing, if the human named Maxwell approaches you again then you have to stay away from him!". Said Julian firmly. 

"Yes". Qiara couldn't stop smiling at Julia's jealous attitude.

After that Julian left Qiara. 

"What's wrong with Julian? Why is he not as fussy when he hasn't found the answer to his question, he also doesn't protest when I change the subject. What's wrong with him? And why is Julian scared when he sees me close to Boss Maxwell?". Inner Qiara confused. 

Not finding the answer to her question, Qiara chose to leave the restaurant immediately before Aurel scolded her for being late for this important event. 

Meanwhile Julian smiled as he stared at his cellphone. 

In fact, Julia saw Maxwell watching him and Qiara from outside the restaurant, Julian was suspicious of Maxwell's increasingly suspicious attitude because he didn't leave either. 

Therefore, he deliberately put his cell phone in Qiara's bag by activating the recording. 

As expected, Maxwell walked in and met Qiara. 

"Maxwell Adamson, how dare you like my wife, do you want to fly the war flag with me again? I will not let you take what is already mine". Inner Julian after hearing the recording of Qiara and Maxwell's conversation. 

Just then, Julian's cell phone rang and it was from Viona. Julian took a deep breath because he was too lazy to talk to Viona.

Even so he still picked it up because after all, Viona was part of his Papa and Mama's plan. 

"Hello?". Said Julian first after he shifted the green icon on his cellphone.

"Julian, Mama are in the hospital!". Viona said frantically. 

Instantly Julian panicked because his mother was a person who rarely was hospitalized. 

"Why did it happen? What's wrong with my mother?". Asked Julian. 

"Aunt Sarah was rushed to the hospital by a servant at your house, she said she fainted after hearing the news that your papa is now being detained by the police for tripping over a corruption case". Viona replied.

"All right, I beg you to take care of my Mama first, now I will come!". After saying that, Julian immediately hung up the call.

"How can Papa stumble over a corruption case, as far as I know he is a clean minister. He doesn't even need a lot of money from his position, because he still has a lot of shares in the JJ Group. Someone must have trapped him". Julian thought while thinking. 

His cellphone rang again and it was from Nathan, at once, Julian immediately picked up because this was the first time Nathan had contacted him after the failure of his marriage to Clara.

"Hello?". Nathan's voice sounded panicked from across the phone.

"What's wrong with you and why did you disappear for so long?". Julian asked in a terrible voice.

"I'm sorry. Oh yeah, I heard earlier that Papa was arrested. Then what about Mama, is she okay?".

Nathan loved his mother so much that he did not want her to be hurt by anything. And he knows better that his mother really loves his papa. Therefore Nathan panicked when he heard the news just as he was getting ready to marry Natalie.

"Mama entered the city hospital, she is now being treated by doctors. Are you coming back?".

"Why do you have to ask? I could not put anything else than Mama". After saying that Nathan hung up the phone and looked at the nanny of the orphanage with teary eyes. 

"Forgive me because it looks like I will postpone my marriage until the time I have not determined, because my mother is hospitalized. So I have to go now!". Nathan said regretfully. 

"Okay, you really have to meet your mother soon because she needs you the most!". Said the caregiver of the orphanage.

"Thank you, I entrust my future wife to you. Alright, I'm going now!". After saying that Nathan left the orphanage without saying goodbye to Natalie who was waiting for him in the bridal room.

"Where is my future husband?". Asked Natalie when she saw the orphanage nanny come alone.

"Your marriage has been postponed because Mr. Nathan has to leave."

At the notification from the orphanage's nanny, Natalie's heart ached because Nathan had once again confused her.

Without asking any further questions from the orphanage, Natalie ran after Nathan to ask for an explanation.
