Chapter 379 - Become Better

"I just hate seeing you hurt, we just started a new thing in our life, so I'm afraid I won't make you happy. What should I do to keep you okay?". Julian answered as he sat beside Qiara. 

Qiara smiled then turned to her side and said seriously. "I know that I am indeed a rude and stubborn person, but I will try to change little by little, for that please increase your patience. And thank you for supporting my career to hide our relationship for the second time. Even though I know you are uncomfortable. But, after I feel worthy of standing beside you, from then on I will announce our relationship".

"Yes. As long as it makes you comfortable I will do it, let Zio get used to you so he can easily accept you as his mother. Because actually, Zio's character is similar to yours". Julian said while holding Qiara's hand. 

"Yes. Oh yeah, what time is it already, aren't you going to pick up Zio?". Qiara said when remembering that Zio was still at school. 

"There is Liu who always picks him up!". Replied Julian.

"Then go back to the office, you must have a lot of work, I'm fine".

"Are you sure you don't want me to accompany you?". Asked Julian who felt unwilling to leave Qiara alone. 

"Yes!". Qiara replied as she encouraged Julian to go to the office. 

"All right. But, before that I will help you to lay your body on the bed!". After saying that Julian helped Qiara lay down on the bed.

After that Julian sat on the edge of the bed staring at Qiara's annoying face, which sometimes made him angry and laughed. 

"I'm going to the office now, you just rest!". Said Julian as he covered Qiara and kissed her forehead. 

After that Julian left Qiara alone in his room. 

"He is indeed a husband who is no doubt, fortunately he did not fall in the arms of the witch. Otherwise, my son and husband will turn into scary creatures". Inner Qiara as she sat back down and took her cell phone. 

After finding Aurel's contact, Qiara immediately contacted her. 

"Hello, Liana ... Where are you? he said you were involved in an argument with Helena and Miss Viona, is that true?". Aurel asked in panic from across the phone. 

"Yes, I think they don't like me. But, I'm afraid that it will be troublesome for you after this incident. Please forgive me!". Qiara replied who felt guilty. 

Qiara really felt uncomfortable, because she had always bothered Aurel since the first time she filmed, her feelings began to feel uneasy.

"You don't have to worry, there won't be a magazine or TV station that will broadcast this incident, because Boss Maxwell has already taken care of it. I thought he was driving you home. Is that right!". Aurel tried to calm Qiara's heart.

"That's the problem, the boss had good intentions to take me home. But, I even touched him because I didn't want him to take him home. Finally I asked to be dropped off in the middle of the road. The boss did not hold me, so I had to walk because it was difficult to find a taxi. Now I am there at home". It was Qiara who felt more and more uncomfortable for Aurel.

"It's okay, the boss is not a person who likes grudges. You know who he is yourself. Maybe today he is in his orchard. Then you just take a break first. But, later in the afternoon you have to be on the set because there is a scene next".

"Thank you, I'll try to come on time this afternoon". Qiara said excitedly.

"Good then. Okay, I'll be closed now because I have business to be resolved". After saying that, Aurel hung up on me because she had to go to the advertising company immediately.

After talking with Aurel, Qiara felt relieved that the mess this morning had been resolved. However, her feelings are not very good when considering the attitude of her stepmother and stepsister who seems very angry because of the failed marriage.

"'Looks like the old man will get mad at me if they say nonsense. Therefore I have to prepare myself against those two cunning women". Inner Qiara with a sharp gaze. 

After thinking about it, Qiara's body felt tired so that her mind was tired, she lay back on the bed and closed her eyes to fall asleep for a moment. 

A few hours later.

It was already four in the afternoon, Qiara opened her eyes and looked around. 

After that she looked at the clock on her cellphone which showed four in the afternoon. 

"Gosh ... It's four o'clock, I'm almost late at this. I have to take a shower immediately!". Qiara rushed out of bed because she was late due to sleeping too soundly so she escaped.

Due to tight time, Qiara was forced to only wash her face.

After finishing dressing, Qiara's cell phone rang and it was from Julian. Instantly Qiara immediately picked it up.

"Hello?". Qiara said first after sliding the green icon on her cellphone. 

"Qiara, I have to go to America today, I'm leaving the office with Andi. Take care of our children and be good while I'm not home!". Said Julian.

"Why is it so sudden? You should have told me in advance this morning so I could help you prepare clothes. Isn't that the duty of a wife?". Qiara was annoyed that Julian left suddenly.

"I'm sorry dear, Papa wants me to leave now, that's why I have to go. Give my greetings to Zio".

Actually Julian felt hard to go, especially when he had to leave his wife who had just returned in his arms.

"Yes, you are careful on the road. I'm leaving for the shoot today. Probably going home late at night. So, I'll take Zio away with me, do you allow it?". Qiara said who couldn't bear to leave Zio alone.

"It's better not to, because Zio really doesn't like crowds. So, leave him at home with Liu!".

"Good". Qiara replied weakly and a little disappointed.

"Well, I'll close it first honey, I love you!". After saying that, Julian hung up the phone without waiting for a reply from Qiara.

After talking to Julian, Qiara came out of her room. Instantly she was surprised to find Zio's innocent face looking up at her in front of the room.

"Oh ... oh my god...".

"Why did aunt come out of Papa's room!".. Zio asked while blinking his eyes.
