Chapter 217 - Feel Bored

Not long after, Nathan glanced at the party owner who was none other than his father's last brother. There was also the nag with her two parents. 

Just then, Lala was hiding behind her papa's tall body. Lala's behavior immediately confused her father. 

"Hey... Honey? What's the matter? Why are you hiding? Scold your brother!". Whispered her father, glancing behind him.

"Lala doesn't like Nathan, he's rude, he likes to pinch Lala. he's not like Julian's brother". Lala answered while looking at Nathan sarcastically behind her father's back. 

"Hey... Lala, when do I pinch you? Uncle, please don't believe this little boy! Even though she's your daughter, I'm innocent". Nathan said with an annoyed expression at Lala. 

Her father sighed heavily, because he could guess that if Lala met Nathan, they would have argued. 

"Oh yes, Uncle... Congratulations on winning the big tender, this party is really cool. Unfortunately, my sister, brother and my papa were not able to attend". Nathan said again, trying to change the subject, because he didn't want to make a fuss with Lala.

Hearing Nathan's words, his uncle immediately hugged him. 

"Your presence is enough for me, while those busy beings are a bonus if they can come". Said his uncle with a smile. 

"Yes uncle. Oh yes, are you healthy?". Nathan asked again after releasing his hug. 

"Of course your uncle is healthy! How are you?". The uncle replied while looking at Nathan with a gentle gaze.

"As uncle saw, hehe ...". Nathan replied in a cheerful and cute manner. 

His uncle immediately laughed happily and they spent the rest of the party chatting casually. 

A few moments later. 

"Mama...". Nathan poked his mother, who was still busy chatting with her relatives because he was getting bored. 

"Ummm ... What's wrong, dear?". Sarah asked after turning to her son. 

"I'm bored here, can I go first? Or let's just go home!". Nathan said spoiled. 

"Sorry, dear! You must be annoyed with this party. Well, you should go home first! Later, Mama will come home with Aunt and Lala. Thank you dear, because you are willing to accompany Mama!". Sarah said in a soft voice, after which she kissed her son's forehead. 

That's how Sarah treats her children, she is gentle and doesn't like to scold them so they grow up to be children who never disobey her. Except at the same firm papa. 

"Alright! Nathan will go now!".

"Yes, be careful while driving!".

"Okay Ma".

After kissing the back of his mother's hand, Nathan immediately left the party. But, he didn't forget to say goodbye to his grandmother before leaving. 

"Hahaha ... I'm free! Do I have to go back to campus? Oh yeah, today Rena will come to campus after winning an international award. Wow ... She's really cool. But, why is it so hard to get her heart? in hindsight she was too cold for a woman's size. Nathan's mind. 

Along the way, Nathan continued to think about how to get close to Rena. 

Just then, he saw a group of women bullying one girl in front of a restaurant. In fact, he also saw the restaurant manager kick her out. 

"Isn't that Natalie? Why is she here? Isn't it still class time or is she taking night classes? Or is she off?". Nathan asked himself after he stopped at the side of the road. 

Meanwhile, Natalie was seen walking and sitting on a chair not far from the restaurant. 

In the chair, Natalie sat with her head down. She cried silently because she lamented her fate. 

"Are ugly people not allowed to have decent part-time jobs? Why are ugly people always the object of their bully who is said to be beautiful?". Natalie asked herself, sobbing. 

"Because you are special!".

Hearing this voice, Natalie looked up at once. Immediately she was surprised when she saw the handsome face of Nathan who was smiling and holding out a handkerchief to her. 

"Nathan? Why are you here?". Natalie asked, wiping her tears with both hands. 

Nathan sat beside Natalie without saying anything, after which he immediately helped Natalie clean the tears that remained on her cheeks. 

Instantly Natalie felt like she was having a heart attack right away, she was very surprised to see Nathan's sudden good action to her. 

"Am I dreaming? Nathan wants to wipe the tears on my cheeks? Is this a beautiful romantic drama going on? I feel even more in love with him. In fact, I feel like going crazy". Natalie thought with flushed cheeks. 

"Oh ... Gosh ... Natalie, are you sick? Why are your cheeks so red?". Nathan asked worriedly as he placed his hand on Natalie's red cheek. 

"I am fine!". Natalie replied nervously and embarrassedly.

"Good. Oh yeah, why are you here? Don't you have to go to college? Also, why do they treat you like that?". Nathan asked curiously.

"I'm working. So, I took the afternoon lecture so I could work half a day here. But, now I'm fired because I'm accused of offending buyers. Honestly, I didn't do anything, they were my old high school friends who really liked to mock me. I've been working for a long time since I was in high school. But, my manager ended up firing me just because of that trivial matter". Natalie explained, shedding tears.

Nathan became emotional at Natalie's story. 

He knows that Natalie comes from a simple family and goes to college by relying on scholarships. But, he never thought that Natalie was also a hard worker. 

"Isn't your scholarship money not enough to cover your life?". 

Natalie looked down without answering Nathan's question because she didn't want to expose her personal problems to anyone, including Nathan. 

"Come on, follow me!". Nathan said suddenly as he pulled Natalie's arm.

Nathan did not want to force Natalie to answer his questions because he could understand Natalie's situation.

"Where are you going?". Natalie asked in surprise. 

"I will repay your heartache!". Nathan answered. 

"I don't want to, just let them! I'll find another job!". Said Natalie who didn't want to move her foot. 

"It's okay! You trust me right?".

Again Nathan used his charm to seduce Natalie, so Natalie immediately nodded in confidence.
