Chapter 236 Smell like a Human
"So did you help me?"
"What do you think?" Ray asked instead with a light chuckle.
"You helped me." She said firmly.
"Yeah, I did, so how are you going to repay me, girl?"
"I..." Luo Shuchun hesitated with a tentative expression on her face. Then her demeanor returned to calm in just a moment.
"You can take everything away from me and I am sure you have no interest in a bug like me."
"Well, you are half-true." Ray said with a chuckle while shaking his head, "If I was not interested in you, would you think I would help you?"
"Then what do you want?" Luo Shuchun asked, her expression unreadable with an icy tone to it.
There was already an idea forming in her mind which made her body tremble...
Bang!
Ray lightly flickered her in her forehead, causing her to reel back with a little swell bumping in her head.
"Ouch." She winced in pain.
"What were you thinking about, girl? Do you think I would be interested in you?" Ray said with a stern expression.
"Umm, then what?" Luo Shounshun was puzzled in her heart as she looked at him with a tentative expression.
Ray coughed, clearing his throat and folding his hand behind his back.
"Become my disciple."
"Eh!?"
Luo Shoundchun was stunned.
...
A demon bolted through the sky in the warm yellow sunlight, a horrified expression on his face. He looked behind him from time to time, weariness etched in his eyes.
"Have I escaped from that hell?" he was completely terrified.
"I need to tell the demon god about this."
He streaked past the dense forest and emerged into a desolate expanse of desert, where sand blanketed every surface, seeping into every crevice and corner. The air was thick with fine grains, swirling in a restless haze that made visibility nearly impossible.
"It's quite hard to find him, huh." the bear mused. With a sudden motion, it extended its paws, and black light shot forth, slicing through the air rapidly as it spread across the city like a web.
"If you don't come out then..."
The Demon God opened his mouth, revealing sharp canine teeth with blood dripping from them, a twisted grin spreading across his face.
"I will wipe this entire city out."
Bang!
A black flicker of light surged forward, directly striking the center of the city. The explosion was instantaneous, expanding outward with devastating force.
The city seemed to dissolve before their eyes, every living being and object turning to sand and disappearing into nothingness.
Suddenly, a voice cut through the chaos:
"Are you the so-called demon god?"
Time seemed to halt at that moment. In an instant, the devastation was reversed. The city was whole again, its people restored, and a tall, white-haired figure appeared in the sky. Clad in an emperor's robe.
"You look like a human," the Demon God hissed, its voice cold and twisted. Inside its jagged mouth, countless stars twinkled, flickering ominously between its sharp teeth. A cruel grin spread wider.
"Smell like one too."
"Then you feel like a teddy," Ray said casually, his tone calm yet deadly. In an instant, his fist surged forward, shattering space itself as reality began to unravel beneath the force of his punch.
The Demon God opened its mouth once more, a sinister grin spreading across its face.

"Did I?" Ray's lips curved into a cruel smirk, the corner of his mouth twitching upward.
Before his punch could fully connect, a black hole materialized in front of his fist, colliding with the Demon God's jagged maw.
A deafening silence engulfed the space—a soundless explosion in the time it takes for light to flicker. Reality itself struggled to comprehend the clash.
In an instant, both Ray and the Demon God vanished, leaving nothing but an echo.
"Huh, what was that?"
The cultivators in the surrounding area were left utterly stunned, their eyes wide with disbelief, a distant, dazed look as they began to scatter, fleeing the city.
"Let's escape this hellish place."
A woman with golden hair, wearing a flowing blue kimono, appeared gracefully on one of the rooftops. She gazed around with a puzzled expression.
"Where did he go?" she whispered.
