As Sunwoo and Kang Jinwook sat across from each other at the table in the yard, they each picked up an ear of corn and began eating without a word.

Throughout it, Sunwoo kept glancing at Kang Jinwook. He hadn’t expected him to actually eat the corn, but to his surprise, Kang Jinwook ate it without saying anything.

Soon, Kang Jinwook finished his first ear and grabbed another. Sunwoo noticed they were only eating corn—nothing else.

"Uh, should I bring some water or something?"

Thinking for a second, Sunwoo grabbed the peaches he had placed on the shelf and went back outside. By the time he returned, Kang Jinwook had finished the second ear of corn.

Sunwoo couldn’t help but think that this scene—Kang Jinwook eating corn—was like a dramatic meeting of the city and countryside. It made him chuckle to himself.

"You still like peaches."

"Huh?"

Sunwoo flinched when he placed the peaches on the table. He’d been thinking about Kang Jinwook just now, so he was caught off guard.
