Just like how human can use their eyes to capture information about light and see their surroundings.

I just found out this ability of mine recently when I tried some experiment in boredom.

They are currently standing in front of a stone with unknown function when the sky above them tore open.

It split open violently like someone is tearing the whole sky. Behind the clear sky that has been torn open, a dense dark cloud comes into view. Amidst the dense cloud, there are occasional streaks of lightning.

At the location where the sky tore open, an aurora can be seen. If coupled with the dark background caused by the cloud, the scene can be said to be extremely breathtaking. Like literally, because a lot of oxygen and spirit qi start to get sucked out of many other spatial cracks that appear around the inheritance site after the sky got torn.

Under such an apocalyptic scene, the woman of light appeared once again in front of Su Ping and the others. This time, the woman's body flickered just like a broken hologram. "Warning! The woman made of light kept on speaking weird sentences as Su Ping's group looked at the sky in horror. Even Ren Qingchen's eyes widened like it was going to fall. All the while, I can hear him mutter. "Impossible! Impossible! This shouldn't happen."

After one minute, the woman seems to find a suitable reward. "Found a suitable reward, rewarding the Dual Affection Scripture."

In the room Ren Qingquan is in, several books from the bookshelf nearby suddenly move on their own and fly to the room's ceiling. When those books arrived near the ceiling, a hole opened which immediately closed once more when the book had passed by.

Those books soon appeared in front of Su Ping's group.

It seems above the room where Ren Qingquan is located right now are the place Su Ping and the others stood. I haven't realized it because the room Ren Qingquan is in right now is also enveloped with formation capable of blocking my [Scan].

I guess I'll need to upgrade my [Scan] one more time, especially now I already got such a massive windfall.

After Su Ping, Ren Qingchen, Young Master Gu, and the others took their respective books, the woman made out of light spoke. "Initiating escape procedures. Good luck and have a safe trip."

Right after the woman said that, a massive door opened before Su Ping and the others. The door immediately sucked those people once it opened.

Just like before, the inheritance site is discriminating against single people as there is actually no door to help Ren Qingquan escape.

Through [Scan], I found Su Ping and the other had arrived at a plane. Above them, the thick tribulation cloud can still be seen, occasional lightning coming from the cloud helps to brighten the surroundings. In the distance, there are also auroras that give off multiple colors coming from where the center of those tribulation clouds is.

The lightning in the cloud begins to condense into the center as their surroundings start to darken.

When they saw it, I heard Ren Qingchen speak. "Let's escape from here!"

If this goes on, he'll soon get caught up by the tribulation lightning.

I looked at the torn inheritance site sky above him. From what I can see, beyond that torn sky is the cultivation world.I also doesn't see any trace of spatial crack over there. So I suggested Ren Qingquan to fly toward the sky that has been cut open.

From the books I've read. When someone is transcending their tribulation, it is forbidden for an outsider to interfere. Otherwise the attack will turn even more intense.

Just as expected. When the barrier enveloped Ren Qingquan in it, the tribulation counted it as an outside interference.

I can see the cloud which made up the tribulation start to increase in size. I guess the next lightning pillar will be much bigger in size and much more powerful.

But the most pressing matter right now is that the barrier has blocked Ren Qingquan's path to escape. Behind him, the first bolt of lightning tribulation with homing function has already arrived.

I instinctively used [Transfer] and sent Ren Qingquan outside of the barrier. With the pink barrier separating him and the first lightning bolt. the lightning bolt forcefully collided with that barrier and exploded. As for the barrier, it is still as stable as ever even after receiving that explosion.

With this, Ren Qingquan has survived his first bolt of lightning tribulation.

As the tribulation lightning for Nascent Soul cultivators merely consisted of three attacks that progressively got stronger. That means Ren Qingquan already completed one third of his tribulation.

Right now, he just needs to survive the second barrage.

While Ren Qingquan flies outside of the barrier nearby the sky that has split open and connected to a place in the cultivation world. My [Scan] detected a few energy fluctuations coming towards his location from a kilometer away.

Soon, dozens of people whose strength varied at Nascent Soul, Soul Formation, and Divine Transformation appeared on Ren Qingquan's surroundings. Those people looked at the sky in fear before changing their gaze into the barrier below them. Some have an amazed look while some have greedy look on their face.

The strongest among them, a middle aged Divine Transformation stage said while touching the pink barrier that covered the torn inheritance site's sky below them. "This aura, it comes from someone who has reached the Void Unity stage at least."

Then he looked at the sky and commented. "Those lightning clouds look like tribulation lightning. From the strength, it seems like a tribulation lightning for Divine Transformation cultivator to reach Void Unity stage."

Why is this guy commenting everything, is he trying to show off his knowledge? Anyway, thanks to the information that the Divine Transformation expert gave, I found out Ren Qingquan's tribulation is indeed abnormal in strength.

Is it possible the Heavenly Will took this chance to enact its revenge against every trouble Ren Qingquan and I have caused? Or are there any other reason?

The inheritance place is built in something akin to pocket dimension attached to the cultivation world. Because Ren Qingquan start his tribulation while inside the inheritance site, the Heavenly Will decided to forcefully barge in and blast Ren Qingquan to pieces. It is also the reason why the tribulation's strength went off the chart. Hiding inside a pocket dimension is counted as outside intervention~
