When Michael caught a glimpse of Betty as she picked up his notebook, he couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment.

This time, Betty wasn't wearing her usual conservative pajamas, nor was she in anything remotely sexy; instead, she was dressed in standard work attire, complete with a shirt and trousers.

It was clear as day that Betty was now on guard against Michael.

Loose pajamas would have made it easier for Michael to make a move, but the formal outfit she wore now would definitely slow him down, just unbuttoning it would be a hassle.

Once Betty started reviewing Michael's notebook, she dove into it with full concentration, oblivious to Michael's sneaky glances.

Although she taught Language Arts, her skills in both English and math were solid.

Betty gave Michael a complex look.

Both Betty and Michael had visibly lost weight over these past few days.

As time passed, Betty's resentment towards Michael had somewhat faded.

Despite being a big kid, Michael's youthful innocence was still apparent on his face.

Up close, the worry in his eyes and his slightly gaunt cheeks stirred a flicker of pity in Betty.

During this time, Betty had been wrestling with her thoughts.

From what I observed in the videos, if I had been home then, Betty would have definitely come clean to me.
