He shifted his gaze to Yue Jie and Yue Jie took his cue.
Yue Jie thought that he was worried about Yue Xin after the night and she stopped Yue Xin.
"Sit down and let the servant girls help you like what Xuan Qi had said.
"Xuan Qi is just taking good care for you." Yue Jie held her slowly back down to her seat and said.
"But I..." Yue Xin stopped when she heard that Lin Xuan Qi was caring for her.
It was the best thing to make her listen.
Lin Xuan Qi sighed and thought that the heavens must be playing a prank on him.

She thought that he was trying to get them ready to bear his child and she was more than supportive of it.
Every night she hoped for it to happen for her, but so far it had been futile, and so, she didn’t mind any help she could get for her and the others.
Yue Jie and Liu Shi Shi also didn’t think too much about it and they ate quietly by the side.
Soon, when Lin Xuan Qi was done with the breakfast, he decided to go to the rice noodles shop to have a look.
He wanted to get some of the rice noodles, rice cakes and rice paper rolls to see if Auntie Sue could come up with something that would be delicious and easy to make.
The decision to open up rice noodles food stalls or restaurants was made earlier and he wanted to see if it was possible.
Lin Xuan Qi stood up from his seat to leave but not before he made his reminder.
"Four of you take care of each other while I’m away, don’t do anything risky or dangerous.
"It is winter and it’s best that you don’t catch a cold." He said and left for the rice noodles shop.
Xue Cong felt that he was behaving differently but she didn’t mind.
He hadn’t been so focused on them for a while.
Maybe with the new concubines, he was turning some of his attention back on the family?
She thought and promised to take care of the rest of them.
Yue Jie held onto Yue Xin’s hand and she led her to her room, wanting to teach her more about being a concubine.
It was best for Yue Xin to behave accordingly, she thought.
Even though Xue Cong didn’t behaved exactly like one, she was still the head mistress of the household and it was best that Yue Xin knew the limits.
Liu Shi Shi got busy with her duty of being the head of security and she also felt the difference in Lin Xuan Qi.

"Sure." Lin Xuan Qi said and took out a string of copper coins from his sleeve pocket.
He handed them over to Old Ren and said, "Here is the salary for this month."
