Chapter 31
Chapter 31
Even though it was a vacation, Chi Xiaoman felt particularly tired, physically exhausted.
What Qiao Ning’s parents packed for the two of them filled the entire trunk. Chi Xiaoman was taken aback. “Auntie, what did you buy? If it’s all food, they’ll definitely spoil!”
Qiao Yuezhen laughed so hard that her face creased. “Auntie recently sold a script so I can buy whatever I see in the mall. Don’t mind it!”
Chi Xiaoman had a question mark in her head. Why did they give her things for free but make it feel so insignificant?
Auntie’s enthusiasm was really strange!
“Alright, alright,” Qiao Ning closed the trunk to prevent his eccentric mother from scaring Chi Xiaoman. “You should go upstairs, we’re leaving!”
On the way back, as expected, they encountered heavy traffic.
Chi Xiaoman looked depressed as the car moved at a snail’s pace for more than ten minutes. She sighed repeatedly, and a hand reached over, caressing her arm.
Qiao Ning asked with concern, “Why aren’t you happy? Are you feeling unwell? Where do you feel uncomfortable?”
Chi Xiaoman was shocked, her mind automatically recalling the crazy scenes from last night when the two of them had passionate sex. She didn’t know what on earth had possessed her, and her whole body was covered in goosebumps from being touched. She widened her eyes, slapped Qiao Ning’s hand away, and angrily asked, “What are you doing?”
Just hearing Qiao Ning say “Why aren’t you happy” was enough to give her PTSD!
Qiao Ning blinked, pursed his lips, and looked like a helpless little baby. “I didn’t do anything. If you don’t want me to ask, then I won’t.”
Chi Xiaoman looked disdainful and wary, with a nasty tone. “You better not speak!”
Qiao Ning reluctantly replied, “Hmm,” gripping the steering wheel out of spite and staring at the car ahead.
Chi Xiaoman quickly put on her jacket, afraid to show any inch of skin in front of him.
She had always believed in the philosophy of being happy even if the rest of the world was unhappy. After last night’s satisfaction, she put on her pants and pretended nothing happened, blaming Qiao Ning and categorising their multiple kinky encounters during the vacation as just casual sex. It was just the straightforward friction between a dick and a pussy!
She even sternly warned Qiao Ning not to bring up this matter as if it had ever happened, and if he did, she would end their friendship!
Qiao Ning, of course, half-heartedly agreed, answering with his mouth while blatantly ogling her breasts with his eyes. Then he received a slap across the face from Chi Xiaoman!
Qiao Ning stood in place for several minutes, feeling a bit wounded by her fleeing figure.
Was he really that bad?
Didn’t he just say “pee in my mouth”? Was it really that different from last night when they played with yogurt and licked each other’s juices?
Thinking about that feeling, Qiao Ning’s mouth became dry and his tongue began to tingle.
Damn their vacation, why was it so short!
Chi Xiaoman dragged all her belongings to the dormitory and was too tired to lift her hands.
Liu Shuyu was startled. “Oh my god, did you move your whole house here? Why didn’t you let me help you downstairs?”
Chi Xiaoman waved her hand and couldn’t even speak. She went to the bathroom first to take care of her physical needs before explaining while drinking water. “It’s the things Qiao Ning’s mom bought. I was shocked when she brought them down at noon.”
She received twice as many gifts as Qiao Ning did.
Liu Shuyu started to gossip. “Is it that incredibly handsome younger bro? His mom even gave you gifts. Why is she so good to you?”
“Because we have a good relationship, and his mom is also warm-hearted. When we were younger, she helped me with things like spring outings...”
“Wow, I’m jealous,” Liu Shuyu sighed, “His mom must be beautiful and kind-hearted, and her son is so handsome. She treats you well too...”
Chi Xiaoman couldn’t stand Liu Shuyu’s tone anymore. “When Qiao Ning was younger, he was quite weak. We were just good friends.”
Liu Shuyu smirked, turned around, and continued doing her homework. She muttered, “I didn’t say your relationship wasn’t pure. Why are you in such a hurry to explain?”
Hearing this teasing remark, Chi Xiaoman felt her head exploding.
She couldn’t recover her strength and for several days, she didn’t pay much attention to Qiao Ning. Qiao Ning would send her long messages on WeChat, but Chi Xiaoman didn’t bother to read them and only replied with a perfunctory “Yeah.”
When Qiao Ning said he was coming to her school, Chi Xiaoman panicked and immediately called him. “Don’t come, I’ve been catching up on classes. Don’t come!”
Before Qiao Ning could say anything, she hung up in a panic.
Qiao Ning sighed at his phone, completely plagued by lovesickness. He was so sick that he couldn’t think straight. He finally understood why his roommate’s girlfriend broke up with him because they were in different schools!
