Qiao Ning looked astonished and surprised as she turned back: “Huh? I have never gone behind your back before. Didn’t we go to the gym together with my dad? And I even recommended you the annual card that I got when school started! Did I do something wrong? Why did you accuse me?”

Chi Xiaoman, with no consideration for volume, responded loudly: “I was just asking, why are you reacting so strongly?”

“Isn’t it because you suddenly started paying attention to my body that I got scared?” Qiao Ning crossed her arms and hugged herself. “Your words were just too weird, like a strange auntie!”

Seeing the smug look on this little white face, Chi Xiaoman was instantly filled with rage, regretting how she had been blinded by his young body once again.

She wanted to strangle him!

Without saying a word, Chi Xiaoman turned and started walking in the direction of the mountain according to the sign. She walked faster and faster...

Qiao Ning chased after her, persuading and pleading for forgiveness. The two finally made up halfway up the mountain and held hands as they continued their climb to the peak.
