Matthew Hesh walked into the conference room at Hesh Industries, ready for his meeting with Ambassador Li Ming. Matthew motioned to Robert, who handed over a folder filled with contracts and specifications. Li flipped through the documents, occasionally nodding. "These terms are fair," he said. "But I must ask—what changed? Previously, the Republic seemed reluctant to assist us directly."

Matthew leaned back in his chair. "The situation changed. The Republic recognizes the need for balance in East Asia. The day after the shipment left the factory, Matthew met with Ambassador Li one last time to discuss the timeline for deployment.

"The equipment is on its way," Matthew said. "Your forces should have it within the week. My team will arrive shortly after to begin training."
