Hearing the alarm, Long Yu's expression changed. "Not good. They have discovered us."
Wu Yehao looked at them and ordered, "Retreat!"
The moment he said that, the six of them rushed out of the room. Before leaving, Yao Ran took out three grenades from her space, pulled out the safety pin, and threw them into the equipment and computers.

The moment the grenades exploded, Yao Ran swiftly shut the metal door and rushed to catch up with the others. On their way out of the restricted area, they came across an intersection.
Yao Ran paused and said, "Captain Wu, this intersection leads to the hidden floor, right?"
Wu Yehao nodded. "Yes, but we don't have time to go there now."
Yao Ran thought for a moment and said, "I have an idea."
She took out a few time bombs from her space, handed them to Wu Yehao, and said, "Captain Wu, can you place these around the building to buy me some time? Set them to explode in thirty minutes. Once you are done, leave immediately."
Before Wu Yehao could refuse, a man's voice came from their left. "Quick! That way!"
"Go." Yao Ran shoved the time bombs into Wu Yehao's arms, then grabbed Long Yu's hand and rushed down the right corridor.
Seeing her run off, Wu Yehao had no choice but to distribute the time bombs to his subordinates. "Spread out and regroup at the small store later." He ordered.
"Yes, Captain." With that, the four of them—each carrying a few time bombs—split in different directions.
While Wu Yehao and his subordinates were busy planting the time bombs, Yao Ran and Long Yu avoided the patrol guards and arrived at another restricted area.
Seeing that a thick metal door blocked their path, Yao Ran drew her long sword without hesitation and slashed at it.

Sparks flew as her long sword struck the metal door. When she withdrew her long sword, she frowned when she saw that there was only a shallow cut on the metal door.
"My long sword isn't strong enough to cut through this metal door."
Long Yu and Yao Ran exchanged glances before cautiously stepping down.
As soon as they reached the bottom, Yao Ran suddenly paused on her track. The soles of her shoes had landed on something wet. Glancing down, she realized the floor was covered in black blood.
Before she could speak, Long Yu suddenly wrapped an arm around her waist and leaped into the air. The next second, something passed by them and landed on the ground.

Looking down, Yao Ran saw a deep crack split through the blood-soaked ground where they had just stood. Before they could land, something shot toward them again.
Sensing the incoming attack, Long Yu controlled the air, and then turned in midair to dodge the attack.

In the next second, the thing that attacked them embedded itself in the thick metal wall. As it tried to break free from the metal wall, Long Yu landed lightly, still holding Yao Ran in his arms.
As the two of them looked at the wall, they saw a long black tentacle embedded in the metal surface.
Noticing that it was covered in some kind of sticky mucus, Yao Ran activated her water-element ability and summoned a stream of water to engulf the tentacle.

The moment the tentacle was wrapped inside the water bubble, it suddenly stopped moving. Without wasting any time, Yao Ran controlled the water's temperature and froze it solid.
As soon as the ice formed, the tentacle began to thrash, struggling to break free, followed by a pained scream just a second later.
"Ah!"
Hearing the agonized cry, Long Yu and Yao Ran exchanged glances before Long Yu swiftly conjured a wind barrier around them.
In the next second, he rushed toward the source of the scream. Moments later, they stopped in front of a massive cage made of black iron.
Looking at the black iron cage, Yao Ran gently patted Long Yu's shoulder and said, "A Yu, please put me down."
"Mhm."
After Long Yu carefully set her down, Yao Ran took a cautious step closer to the black iron cage.
